Overview of Echo Campground

Camping at Sand Flats costs $15 per night, per car for up to 5 people. Additional persons cost $2 each per night. A $5 vehicle trailer fee per night also applies.

Camping is in designated sites only, and visitors are required to abide by all posted rules. Sand Flats has over 140 individual campsites in nine campgrounds marked 'A' through ‘H’ and Juniper. Campsites cannot be reserved, but are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. In the spring and fall campgrounds are typically full Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and 75% to full other nights. Approximately 20% of the campsites turn over each morning. Your best chance of getting a campsite in the spring and fall is to arrive before noon.

Overall Rating

There were some nice views but was noisy and dusty due to all gravel and off road vehicles. No services other than a pit toilet with a wooden fence around it.

One thing to note is Maverik located at 985 on STH 191 has free water and dump station if you stay here.
