Can anyone comment on how strict the 4:00 p.m. check in time is. I’ve never seen such a late check in time. Thanks

The COE parks are my favorite parks to camp at. Always great kayaking and the staff is always eager to help if you need them.

East Bank Campground is a beautiful COE park with the most gorgeous sunset over Lake Seminole. All sites have water and electric hookups with a dump station on the way out of the park. We stayed in site #C20 which is a level, back in site not right on the lake, but still close enough for the beautiful sunset each evening. The pad was concrete with gravel around the picnic table and fire ring. The proximity to our neighbors was fairly close but it still felt private. Some sites have larger spacing. Backing into the site with our 42’ 5th wheel was a challenge due to a couple of trees on each side and across from the site, but we managed with no incidents. The roads in each of the loops are one-way narrow streets, but manageable with our big rig.
The camp hosts on duty while we were there were the most friendly and personable people we have met on the road. The sites are kept clean and raked after each use. My only criticism of the site is that the boards on the picnic table were in desperate need of replacement. This was the case at most of the sites. There are 2 bath houses in Loop B, but I can’t speak to the cleanliness as we did not use them during our stay. There is a free washer & dryer in the back bath house that stays busy. Early morning or late day tended to be the time when they were available.
As full-time RV’ers, our internet connectivity and mail delivery are an important aspect of our stay. Both our T-Mobile home internet and Starlink worked well, as well as Verizon coverage on our phones. The campground was very accommodating for our mail delivery, as we had some meds that were scheduled for last minute delivery. When the packages were delivered, the hosts communicated by phone promptly so we knew when they arrived and could pick them up at our convenience.
As far as the location and conveniences, it is closer to Chattahoochee, FL than Bainbridge, GA. Chattahoochee has a few restaurants and a little further down the road is Sneads that has a Piggly Wiggly grocery store. The drive into Bainbridge takes about 25 minutes, but they have a Walmart, which has a better selection of items than the Piggly Wiggly. We ate at The American in downtown Bainbridge, which had the BEST Banana Cream Pie we have ever had. Went back another day just to get dessert!! Downtown Bainbridge was a nice place to walk around and window shop. Tallahassee, FL is about 50 minutes down the road. We visited the Tallahassee Museum, which was more of a small outdoor zoo with info on the animals and bits of farm history. It was a bit disappointing as there were not many animals but we enjoyed the outdoor walking paths. They are building a new alligator farm to be opened some time in 2024, which would be very cool. We also walked from the campground to Jim Hoover Dam. The water was up from several recent storms so the water in Lake Seminole was very brown. Other than that, Bainbridge is just a nice campground to stay in for relaxation.

Was my first time in a COE campground. Very impressed with how well the hosts keep this place. All sites look very nice. We were in loop C and all sites on loop C have a lake view. For $14 with my all access pass for water and electric I sure won’t complain.

Concrete sites are large. Our site has a beautiful view of the lake. Fishing, kayaking, hiking and bicycling are some of the things to do. Just sitting and the view is relaxing.

He had to go to a Walmart in Tallahassee for a part but the camp host to begin with refused to open the gate to let him out. After going though a hassle with him he finally agreed to open the gate only to tell him he could not get back in until 7:00am that morning, he had a wife, children and a grand daughter waiting for him to get the heat back on. After that he gave him a hassle at the gate ever time he wanted leave the park. What a jerk. I will never stay in this park again. I hope your experience in better than mine.
