“Quiet, Peaceful, Got Busy When The Rodeo Started”

Was in SB for about a week. Good facility, basically a parking lot next to where they corral the cows for the rodeo. Nice to come home to “moos” and hoofbeats.

It's a parking lot. But it's a level parking lot with full hookups in a decent neighborhood. It has some trees nearby, though there's no area for the dog. It was close to the Santa Barbara activities we wanted to visit. Be aware the hookups are behind the RV. Make sure you have enough sewer hose.

As others mentioned, this is, in fact, a parking lot; the spaces are large and easily fit big rigs with slides on one side. Access to 101 is straightforward, only a quarter of a mile from the highway. Even though you are close to the freeway, we did not hear any road noise. During our stay, the park was less than half full, so everyone had plenty of room and was very quiet.
We did not use the facilities, as we showered in our RV. As their website outlines, all the hookups are at the end of the spaces so you will need long power, water, and sewer lines. Our sewer hose came up short; however, a fantastic Ace Hardware Store( Miner's Ace Hardware, 125 N Fairview Ave, Goleta CA) is only 7 miles away and had everything we wanted.
The primary reason for our trip to Santa Barbara was to spend time at the beach away from the 117-degree temperatures at our home base in Phoenix, Az, and this park hit the mark with several outstanding beaches within a 15 min drive.

She lives here on-site at the beginning of the lot if you need anything. The spots on the north side can definitely handle massive rigs, we are 40’ and had our toad parked across the front. Can’t comment on utilities, showered and ran laundry inside my coach. Very close to everything in Santa Barbara. Little to no highway noise considering it’s right off the exit.

Nothing fancy, just a lot with hookups. Would only stay here again in a pinch.
Shower was stinky, no shade. Better than a ticket on the street I suppose.

If you do want a night’s rest or a spot close to everything SB has to offer at a reasonable price, it’s awesome!
The only major knock I’d have, and it doesn’t bother me, is that spaces are tight. Just enough room for slides.

This is a parking lot with no security next to the freeway. Long term RVers have scary gates around them, I assume from theft.

We stayed for three days while we were working in town. SUSAN is very accommodating and friendly as was everybody else that we met in the park. Seems mostly one or two nightstands or long term. No laundry facilities but the hook ups were all fine. They allow animals which is great but there is not a dog run which is OK

For being as close to the freeway as it is it is quiet. There are a number of buildings between you and the freeway and it shields much of the noise.
On thing to watch out for is ants. We had an ant infestation while we were there. The park host was very nice and allowed us to move spots and even treated the ants as soon as we reported it. They were coming in from the pedestal on site 6.
Make sure you have LONG hoses before you book. The sewer, water, and electric are at the rear of every site and there are parking blocks that will prevent smaller rigs from getting close. For our Airstream we needed ~20ft of sewer, 15 ft of water, and 20 ft electric. We arrived on a Sunday and the only RV parts store open was in Ventura ~30 minute drive south.
Overall, next time we're back in SB we'd consider staying here again.
