This campground is located near Holland, Michigan. Reservations made online. Campground uses the CampSpot platform for their reservations. They did charge a $2.00 booking fee. At the time of booking I was able to reserve a particular spot. To guarantee that spot there would be an additional charge. Chose not to pay that additional fee, but still got the site that I initially chose.
Sites throughout the park are both back in and pull through. The roads are paved and sites are on grass. Site had a picnic table and fire ring.
The pull through sites were buddy sites. The downside is that you can potentially be close to your neighbor on the non campside. The actual campground side was pretty spacious and you weren’t right on top of your neighbor.
The campground has a laundry room, bathrooms, showers, playground, pool, and small store. The washing machines were the cleanest machines I’ve seen at any campground or laundromat during my travels. It was $2.25 per wash.
Verizon signal was 5 bars 5G. It was adequate to talk, text, search internet and stream videos. RV was under some trees so no satellite. Did get a some OTA TV channels.
Very happy with the park. It was a great location for exploring the area and it was a nice park.

They fit us in when we called for a reservation. We were in the back 40 with only E/W. There are folks that live here, but live nicely. And this place has the business for sure. It's got some tight spaces, lots of trees, but where we were at there aren't trees. The town of Zeeland is a great town, and the location is really good to the surrounding area and Grand Rapids isn't far at all. The wifi service where we were was spotty but my extender helped. It was quiet, grass/dirt sites. The engineering of turns in this area is confusing and there's a detour when going to Grand Rapids; just follow the signs. Vitole's has GREAT pizza. The small town of Zeeland has a sweet museum that gives a great history. There's an ice cream place that several presidents have visited that's really good. The town of Holland isn't far, had great restaurants and a neat beach area where you can watch the sunset. We enjoyed this area and traveling out to other beaches/lighthouses. Gerald Ford's Presidential Library is a great visit as is the history museum across the street. The Mejier Gardens is a great visit as well. We enjoyed this area and especially the town of Zeeland. This campground was a great location for that.

I'm alwasy a little leary about grass sites as some are messy, muddy and their is a risk of getting stuck. The ground on this site was hard packed so not only was it dry but it was very level! The hosts were friendly and gracious! We stayed here with a group for the Tulip Festival and would definitely stay here again!

Most sites shaded. A little close together. Quiet after 10. Closer to Holland than state park & less expensive.

This is an older campground but facilities (electric box/water/sewer) are well-kept and clean. We stayed here Fri-Tues in August and the weekend was packed with families and kids having a great time so sites felt tight, but Monday was very quiet, relaxing, with lots more breathing room! There is a small pond you can kayak and fish in, a playground, and pool plus laundry and bathhouses. Sites are dirt/grass mix (roads are paved) and many sites have seasonal occupants but all are tidy. We were charged an additional $10 "COVID fee" (applied to entire stay): it was explained that 2 more staff members had to be hired to clean the facilities several times a day under state guidelines. Big rid friendly.
Lots of tall shade trees around the park and each site includes a wooden picnic table and small fire pit. We chose this park for location to friends and the city of Holland. We would stay here again if necessary (the state park was sold out the weekend we were in town). There is some road noise during the day but quiets down at night. Trains horns can also be heard but weren't bothersome at night. Wifi is offered but our site was supposedly between two routers so we couldn't access it.
