My first clue should have been when it took forever to make a reservation on the phone. All we wanted was a quiet place off I-5 for the night. When I was making the reservation I saw the available sites and requested a more private site since we had a dog. Showing up at the park and being next to a dumpster was not what I expected. We went to camp host who told us to go to another site. When we asked if these were reserved(reserved signs on post) she said she didn’t have a way of knowing and we should be ok! Well I do know enough that a camp host is suppose to know this. Finally we were tired & hungry so we parked. A camper next to us looked abandoned and then someone showed up. Looks like this place may be used for local workers. A group of teens with dogs pulled into a site with a car, played ball, laid on the ground and 2 hrs later left. Showers & toilets disgusting. Trash all over outside parking lot. Camp host site trashy with a dog that barked for hours. Woke to a geothermal drilling truck that pulled behind the trashy trailer at 0630! I would highly think twice about staying here.

Far enough from the highway to be quiet, cheap enough to fit the budget, asphalt pads, good shade, and fishing! Not many counties have camping parks, and this is a nice one. Can't control noisy neighbors, though, and this place is popular. Could be cleaner and more attention paid to upkeep, but we'll keep coming.

Pros: has hookups, great Verizon signal, near water, nice sunsets and sunrises, large grass area, small amount of camping spots and very, very quiet. Cons: bathroom, showers are dated and could do with a renovation. It gets the job done. We’d give it a C+/B- overall.

This park charges extra for an extra car and an extra fee per pet. After parking, the camp host rolls up in their golf cart to make sure you have a reservation. Restrooms were super outdated, looked a bit like prison bathrooms. Fairly quiet and peaceful.
Full hookups, 30a electric, paved sites, close to town. It’s not bad for an overnight stop. Wouldn’t stay here much longer than that. Got 117mbps with my Verizon mifi, so great signal for WFH.

Heavy use on summer weekend. Almost vacant on weekdays. Backs up to delta. Lots of kids swimming in it. Did not look inviting at all with what looked like the insides of clams (invasive species. fishermen use them for bait) floating everywhere. Someone said they got a leach on them. So...don't come here to swim :) Place needs maintenance. It is not a resort, but is acceptable. I did not go in bathroom. Heard they were so-so. 3 bars of Verizon gave us good internet, but not good enough for hot-spot Netflex.

Lots of trash everywhere, including our site, and the containers were over full. Restrooms and showers were being worked on. No lights in the park. Sprinklers came on in the middle of the night spraying our trailer. close to I-5 but find someplace else.

The park has potential, but the restrooms/showers were quite dirty (clogged drain, too), and there was a lot of trash all around the park. It just needs some care. The walk along the ridge was nice and the chirping prairie dogs in the field were fun. Easy access from/to I-5, so that was good.

Though nothing to do here and is why its just a good stop over for a night or 2. Site 11 and 25 are pull through. There are trees and super green grass to walk your dog. Very quiet park. Self pay station. If you at to reserve, it must be son 3 weeks in advance. I showed up Tuesday in Oct by 1:00 pm and there were a few spaces for me. Shower deal is weird. You can only shower from 8-10 in the morning and then again between 6-8 at night. Not really sure what that's about. 25.00 a night for full hook ups and a buck extra per night per pet. I came out paying 26 bucks a night. Self pay station was easy to locate. Sites are pretty darn level. I have straight talk and got full bars.
