The sites are bigger then sites we had in KOA campgrounds, next time we will try to book one of the back-in sites, those give you a lot of privacy. There is no bathroom on the campground, but every site has water, electricity and sewer. So, with our camper we had no need to use a bathroom.
With the excellent Wi-Fi I was able to work and do not need to rely on cellphone coverage.

Mentioned in the previous post, this is a new campground which has only been open a few months (as of this writing). The grounds were well kept and new features are continually being added. While there is presently no water at the dump station, there will be, but water can be used from nearby pull-through sites. Further, a bath-house with showers and laundry facilities are in the works. Mountain City is under 5 miles away and proved to be very convenient. Wildlife in the campground was abound with a variety of birds wakening us each morning, and deer that came into camp regularly. We plan to return next year and will likely stay much longer.

This was to be a one night stay on our trip. We ended up canceling the next destination so we could stay a day longer in this peaceful valley. Jessica and Brent are wonderful hosts/owners. He interrupted his work day to drive me to nearby Mountain City to help resolve issues with my truck. This is a new campground on 110 acres so it is still a work in progress. The high speed WiFi was great and was truly high speed. The gravel roads have underlayment and are easy to walk on.
150+ trees have been planted along the perimeter of the property near the currently established sites. There is no shade at the moment on the sites but the electrical service makes running the AC easy. The June weather in the mountain valley was warm during the day with good sleeping cool air at night.
We enjoyed sunsets and the many birds that frequent the sunflower beds. Red winged black birds, swallows, and Cardinals are all abundant and quite vociferous. This new campground has the most important quality down pat: Friendly, supportive ownership! It is easy to see their vision for the future. This is a wonderful place to stay now and we look forward to more as they build it out.
