Friendly Stuff, Quite, Close To Springs, Easy Way Of Check In/out. We Enjoy The Devil Dens Spring, Cerdar Garden, Kirby Farm, Clean And Cozy Territory To Take A Stroll With Kids. So I have no doubts that I was a good idea to stay at Devil’s den for two nights on our way to Tampa Bay.

My wife and I spent a quick weekend here with our 2 dogs on our madden trip in our new camper. Though new to camping, this place, over all, was not intended for campers in my option. We rolled in about 10pm and had no problems getting set up. ( I did have to call ahead to get gate info and site number as that was not provided to me when I reserved) We found that we did not have a picnic table on our site. It appeared that other sites had 2. I guess people just take whatever they want. To my surprise, there was no grill at our site either. We did see that there was kind of like a community grill if you wanted. We didn't plan well for the weekend as we did not make a reservation for Devils den and there was nothing available for the days we were there so make sure to make that reservation in advance. Luckily our neighbors made 2 and was nice enough to give us one of theirs. The location of the springs is close by which was nice and there was a walking path around a man made lake thing that was very underwhelming. We did check out Cedar lake wood gardens while we were there. Again VERY manmade. I was disappointed in the quality of these gardens but it did give us something to do. There was A LOT of divers groups at Devils Den when we were there and I'm guessing this is normal. The whole set up is geared for them over campers as that is where this place makes it money I'm sure. Even the grounds pool was used for diving class so beware. Would I stay again? Maybe but only for a quick stop. It was $49/night and I don't think that is worth what you get. We will be posting a Video on our Youtube Page

This place gave us a ghost town summer camp vibe that probably was cool in the 90s. We went the week after Hurricane Ian passed through FL, and it was dead. More people might make this place more fun, but that wasn't our experience. The campground is just average. No level sites, pads, nearby trash or bathrooms. This place takes themselves too seriously and it shows by the excessive amount of signs around the property with rules, warning, and threats of lawsuits. The spring is cool but the other springs are definitely more beautiful. We can't speak to their campground though.

Pull through level dirt site and FHU. Couldn’t ask for more. Well kept grounds and friendly staff. Surrounded by beautiful horse and cattle ranches. Good place for bicycles. Recent price increase since we booked to $45 per night.
Cell service is good in the am and weakens toward late afternoon and evening.
No negatives unless you need Wi-Fi, don’t like FL (bugs) and don’t mind a little dust.
Enjoyed it!

{Location} Convenient to natural spring on the property
{Price} Extremely overpriced
{RV Park} extremely unkept and dirty, lots of debris like cigarette butts plastic forks and garbage on the ground, appears to have been there for years, also appears the staff here does nothing except for take peoples money and sit there and play on their cell phones. There’s branches and fallen limbs that are falling from the trees in here that could damage your RV so be careful. It’s extremely quiet, and open, when I was here there was three other campers, but there was five RVs the two extra RVs appear to be vacant or abandon. The one nice thing about here was I could let my dogs go out and run around and there’s no problems
{Security} is what you make of it
Bottom line the only reason I gave it more than one star was because it’s a great spot for my dogs to run around otherwise it’s a real dive

I liked it, but someone stole our picnic table (and our slide was grazing the table at the site next to us). But I wouldn’t sit outside anyway because there were so many giant spiders and spiderwebs all around and above me. I’d rate it higher if it weren’t for the spiders - ha!

Along side us in our travels is my brother and sister-in-law with their two kids (also 2 and 5 years old) in their Skoolie. Devils Den is family friendly, pet friendly, and Skoolie friendly! They have a really cute pond with ducks and fish that the kids had a blast feeding. Pretty decent shower/bathroom facilities. Full hook-ups. Trails for bike rides. Sites aren’t too close together. Staff is friendly. It’s quiet and away from busy roads. Sites are a mix of grass/sand but are pretty level so no issues! They have a pool (a little too cold for us to use, but it looks nice!) $35/night. And you of course can’t leave without trying the awesome Devils Den Spring that’s underground! You can snorkel or scuba dive in it.

There is a dump station on the way in...The pad is dirt and had a picnic table but no grill or fire ring. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Dogs are allowed in the camping area just not at the actual spring.
There are a lot of things to do in the area besides Devil's Den itself. While there we went next door to Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens which was well worth the entry fee. We also drove 30 minutes away to kayak up the Rainbow River. Our main reason for going though was to scuba dive the spring. This dive did not disappoint. We found it be a unique diving experience that we look forwards to diving again.
All in all the site was adequate, clean enough, had a friendly staff and located in a good place. I gave it 4 stars because there are no luxuries to these sites. My only complaint is the the wifi didn't work and T-Mobile has no service there but sometimes this is not a bad thing.

There are other sites that do not have sewer. Road inside the park is a little rough. Town of Williston is close with a decent grocery store and a few restaurants. Very quiet at night. However, they don't seem to enforce their posted rule of "No Pets". Not that we care, but there were dogs at several sites in plain view. Not sure why they have the rule... The town of Micanopy is also a close drive. An older, quintessential Florida town with several antique/craft stores and a nice cafe for lunch.
