Overall Rating

We were here in early November. The park is open with no services. It is mostly empty - a few brave souls in tents and a couple of trailers. Quiet. Bit of traffic noise. No odours (see previous review!). Mist lies low….Canada geese are calling….junco’s and American dipper just outside our door by the lake’s edge. The sites are large an... more

Overall Rating

Unacceptable! A place to avoid. The river that runs through the campsite and flows into the lake smells like sewage and feces, even at my spot, which was over 50 meters away. Swim in the lake with that flowing into it? Environmental services need to step in. It's a disgrace!

We stayed in this park on our way through the area. The check in staff was friendly and efficient. Although our site (D-47) was long enough for our 20 foot trailer, it was very difficult to back into. Trees next to the narrow road posed a problem.
