This Thousand Trails campground is one of our favourite parks since it's the only one in Canada and is open 365 days a year! With the creekside trail, a walk through the Provincial Campground to the lake, and the full-service sites we visit here often. I've never seen cleaner campground bathrooms and laundry room with staff that are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. If I had to find a negative point for Cultus Lake TT, it would be the dirt and mud when it rains. Just be sure to bring boots and a broom so you can try to keep most of it outside your rig.
The drive from the #1 Trans Canada Highway to the campground is a beautiful, paved, winding road with gorgeous scenery and cute rural villages to visit.
As Thousand Trails members, we appreciate all the upgrades and maintenance projects being done around the park. Cell service is consistently 4 - 5 bars with Rogers and the two-week paid WiFi is actually pretty decent. (WiFi is free at the clubhouse).

This nice wooded campground is right by the river and close to Cultus Lake. This Thousand Trails campground has both full and partial hookup sites. We stayed 1 night while passing through on our way north towards Alaska.
Some of their amenities include a pool, laundry, workout room, restrooms, showers and pet station. We loved the cozy feel of this park, set right in the pine trees.

We loved this park. Although we always say it's the staff and campers that really make the park, there was a lot to love here. It's about 2.5 km from Cultus Lake along a pretty hiking trail. It's about 2.5 km from Cultus Lake along a pretty hiking trail. The bathhouses are clean and heated in cold weather. It's open all year round. There is free wifi in the club house.
The one down side is that it is a 20-30 minute drive from grocery stores. If you are outdoorsy though, you are close to many hiking trails and activities around Cultus Lake.
