Stopped By To Use The Dump station. The water was not marked, but we asked in the Welcome Center and they said it was potable so we filled our tank. Easy In And Out. Used the restrooms inside. Decent and clean. Thanks Connecticut!

This rest stop has water to fill up your tank (but you have to hold the nozzle on) There is a dump station. You can also spend the night here. Several RV’s & many semi trucks staying the night. It’s not horribly loud, but if you’re a light sleeper you may not be happy. We felt safe.

We stopped here to fill our tanks before an overnight stop. The facilities were nice and clean and it’s a very nice rest area. It was pretty busy and we had to wait to use the dump station but it didn’t take too long.

Thank you, Connecticut!

Very easy site for dumping. We were west bound so had do do a turnaround to get to it but that was not a problem. When you first come in stay to the right where it says trailers. Then go into the truck lot at the left and you’ll see it on the left. We missed the left and had to go around so pay close attention after that right.

“Free dump station”

Pulled in here after a 5 day trip to dump our tank. It’s the first rest area/welcome area in CT heading East. My GPS had it wrong. Follow signs for car trailers then you’ll see the dump station sign on your left. Take that left into what looks like RV parking. It’s to the left side just before you exit the lot.

Utilized the dump station while passing through. It was difficult to find at first because there are serval parking lots and levels. Follow the signs for truck parking. Once you go up the hill using the right fork in the road, the dump station is in the truck parking lot to the left. Water spout was working but there was no hose.

Kat and I stopped here while traveling EASTBOUND on I-84 into Connecticut to use the restrooms. Kat noticed the sign for the dump station so we took advantage of the dump station.
The dump station is located in the upper parking lot of the Welcome Center. We used the restrooms, which were clean and well maintained when we used them. There was also a maintenance man doing ground work around the rest area.
Access to the dump station area is very easy – it is in the upper parking lot. What is nice it has a large grated opening right next to the curb, so it is not necessary to have to hook up a drain hose, just attach a 90-degree elbow and open the drain.
There is also a water hose with good pressure to wash out your tank, rinse off fittings and hose the grate off. The water is not designated as potable water, so I did not add any water to our fresh water tank.
This parking area of the Welcome Center is also used by commercial trucks for parking. There is a sign advising trucks not to idle but I am not sure if that rule is enforced as one truck was parked in front of the sign idling the entire time we were there.
