Good county run campground with a marina. Sites are pretty large and level. Grandkids had fun on the large playground. Great hosts who held an Easter egg hunt the day before Easter. Trains are are often but no horns, so not too loud.

We stayed here for 2 days. Campground is very green and well maintained. There is nice walking trails and the sites are close to the river. There is a boat launch near by. Bring your kayaks or paddle boards. You can hear the train across the river, but it isn’t too bad. Very enjoyable experience.

Cons:
Spiders!! And I mean millions and millions of spiders. I know we’re outside and in their home but we couldn’t leave even a chair outside without waking up to spiders all over it. We had a rug outside our trailer and it was infested with spiders nests. We would wake up and open our door to spider webs covering our trailer. We couldn’t sit at the picnic table because it was covered it huuuge spiders. We spoke to the hosts and they said it’s really bad and they have tried to spray but there’s nothing more they can do. The morning we left we tried to hose off our car, trailer, awning, and slide but those nasty spiders are ruthless. They were on our door handles and tongue hitch and inside the wheels. The neighbors next to us left after setting up because they were so grossed out.
We also made reservations online and the price was $30 a night. They wouldn’t let us pay online. Once we arrived they said payment is due Sunday between 10am-2pm. Once we were leaving they charged us $35. We told them their prices online were $30 and the lady didn’t seem to care. Basically said the prices have changed and that’s what they are now. One camp host tried to give us our original reservation price but the other lady wouldn’t t allow it. Pretty sad to lose customer over this situation but I won’t be returning.

We were lucky as we showed up around noon with no reservations. We were able to get in for two nights a Wednesday and Thursday night. I recommend getting reservations. This county park has a boat launch for access into the Columbia river. I would guess at least half of the campers had a boat with them. Our first impression was great, lots of space between sites, close to the river and next door to the day use section of the park.
There is an old hiking trail between site 40 and 42 which leads up to a small hill "Crow Butte", and some other places. The trails has seen better days as they are starting to get over grown.
On a few of the trails there were so many spider webs crossing the path we had to turn around.
When we woke up the next day, we literally had over a hundred spiders on and around our RV and chairs. My bike had 5 spider webs on it.
I would have rated this camp ground at least 4 stars if it were not for all the spiders, We were there in early July, I am not sure if coming at different time of the year, there might be less spiders.
No AT&T access at the campground, but go up the hiking trail a few hundred feet and you have access.
Oh, there were "Beware of Rattle snake" signs. I did not see any.

They do a good job of providing privacy / wind breaks on the sites on the inside of the loop. We took our kayak, but weren’t able to launch because of the wind and rough waters.
We had no AT&T service in the park, but were able to get some after hiking up to the top of the hill.
Still, this park is well-maintained with paved and level sites, lots of shade, full hookups, a great play area, clean bathroom, great boat launch and dock area for fishermen. There are plenty of hiking choices for leisurely weekend hikes.
We’ve been to this park at least a half dozen times, usually early in the season because it’s close to home. We’ve never had a bad experience here... even with the wind!
