There’s a nice walking path along the river with outdoor dining workout stations and a disc golf course. A few small restaurants nearby to walk to. We’ve camped here twice and would return. They are launching an online reservation system in December. Until then, you have to call to reserve a space.

Stayed in spot 30 for 2 nights. Right on the Columbia river. The sunsets were beautiful. Park is well maintained with green grass, beautiful trees. Generous size spots. Paved walking trails.

The park backs up to the Columbia River. The place is well maintained. The staff was great at customer service. The sites are level, and most are well-spaced. We had two problems with this campground. The Union Pacific train runs right next to the edge of the campground. There is a train about every hour day and night. The second problem with the park is they were charging 65 a night, and the bathrooms and showers were closed. I guess they had been closed for a while for repairs that hadn't been made. They had a port johns set up outside the bathrooms, and the one I used hadn't been serviced in a couple of weeks. When I'm paying 65.00 a night, I expect all of the services to work.

This is a city park that charges $51/night for full hookups. No complaints on the park and facilities. Price per night is high for a govt facility. Ur choice to pay or not.

We will definitely stay there again.

Easy to access off I-84.
Reservations not accepted before April. First come, first serve.
Rate was $23.97 per night (including Good Sam discount).
Arrived after office was closed, but there's a big board with information about what sites are available and which are not. Pick from one of the available sites, get set up, complete the payment envelope (they accept cash, check, or you can write your credit card info on the envelope), and drop it off at the payment box by the front office. Payment envelopes are next to the office entrance where you enter the park.
Paved site, pretty level. During the winter, the open sites have insulated / heated fresh water supply. Sewer hookup is at an angle, so had to fiddle with the sewer hose a bit to get it to seat well enough.
Train is close (due south of the park), you can hear the engine, but they don't blow the horn so it's not really disruptive.
AT&T 4G LTE signal was between 2-3 bars (23Mbps down, 6Mbps up).
Verizon 4G LTE signal was 4-5 bars, didn't run a speed test, but was able to stream content on YouTube and other streaming sites no problem.
Walking trail borders the park (approximately 3 miles worth) so you can get out and ambulate without fear of being run over by vehicles.
Favorite thing about this location is Burnt Field Brewing (about 0.8 miles to the east along the frontage road). The have the freshest salads, best pizza, and incredible beer. As of January 2021, indoor dining with limited seating capacity(!!!!).
No negatives to report.
Wonderful RV park. Will stay here again and again.

Wow, what a surprise! This RV park is spacious, green, and offers amazing river views and plenty to do. The showers are hot (and currently open), laundry facility is good, and there are three miles of paved trails for walking and biking. This park is especially great for families - not only is there a playground near the sites, up the trail is a larger structure in the city park. You can hear the trains but we didn’t mind. The downside is that the entirety of Boardman often smells like a cow pasture or strangely chemical like. Check out the burger place for fantastic fast food!
