I stayed here from 8/24 to 9/1 2023. Yes, the sites are a little close together as the other review mentioned, but there’s room between them. The park is a place for families with playgrounds, disc golf, educational areas, fishing, a beach, and trails of varying difficulty. The staff who came by are all very nice, and the bathrooms always very clean. Some areas are closed off to motor vehicle traffic, but they’re easy walks down the road. The only issue I encountered while I was there was the road to the beach was closed, and that’s where the shower is. I had to park at a nearby pavilion and walk down to get a shower. There’s plenty of room for big rigs and access is paved. Shopping is available in Kittanning 8 miles away. I had a wonderful time there, and would absolutely stay again when I’m in the area.
Corry would stay here again

This is not your typical ACOE campground. The sites are very close together, and there's absolutely no water view from any campsite. There's a playground right in the middle of the campground, which is great if you have kids - not so great if you're looking for peace and quiet. Our site happened to be one of the few with decent shade, which was welcomed in the heat of the day - as these are all dry sites.
The beach and boat launch are a good mile from the campground, in opposite directions, and along a pretty steep hill.
There is a disc golf course right across from the campground however. But really, not much else to do here.
However, cell signal was good - which was our purpose, to get host some Zoom sessions. Too many trees for Starlink however.
