You are just 5 minutes from the downtown area and 15 minutes from the Crested Butte ski resort. Love the owners and know that there is no sewer/septic hookup. There is a dump station in town that is very convenient and it wasn't a big deal as I am a solo traveler and the bathroom/shower facilities here at top notch. I'm really looking forward to staying here again in the future for sure! I am a Starlink user and there were zero trees to worry about so that worked great. Verizon/AT&T/T-Mobile not so much (I have hotspots since I work on the road a lot) and with Verizon for my cell phone it was 1-2 bars at the park, but as soon as I left out and hit the main highway towards town it would go 2-3 bars of 5G. The AT&T hotspot just searched the entire time and T-Mobile was 2-3 bars of 4G. Can't wait to get back here next year!!!

First off; my wife and I have been full-timing for a few years now. Please, please read reviews on this place to see how combative the owners are to honest reviews of their park. They live on premises in a house above the office. They are not very friendly, and this is hands down the worst RV park we've stayed at. The spots are very small with zero privacy. They say they're dog friendly, but there are zero places to walk your dog. The only grass areas in the park have no dog signs. You pay an additional fee for pets, yet there's no place to even walk your dog on the property. Secondly, this park is in an industrial park! Not some quiet, peaceful park. Im spending $90 a night to stay in an industrial park? Thirdly, there is a pet grooming shop on premises with barking dogs 24/7. We stayed here because it was the only rv park in Crested Butte, but I highly recommend staying elsewhere. The fear of constantly being watched and monitored by the owners is not worth it. Please read reviews and do not get caught like we did! No laundry and no sewer hookups btw.

Crested Butte RV Resort is definitely a hidden gem just south of the Crested Butte Ski Resort and town! I waited until the last minute on my reservations, but was able to get the "overflow site" located right next to the main office. The site has water/no sewer/and a 20-AMP power cable waiting for you. That said, I have to admit that I simply LOVED the overflow site! It is really wide, has a picnic table and if you don't mind a few passersby coming to pick up their check-in packets, this is an awesome spot! The check-in was too easy as well...backed in the trailer and a packet was waiting for me clipped to the office door with a pamphlet with everything I could have had a question on !
Here is a breakdown of each of my ratings and I will DEFINITELY be coming back!
Access (5 stars): They are located right off of Colorado Route 135 just south of the town of Crested Butte. It is only a 7-minute ride into town and super easy to get in/out whenever you need to. I really liked how they also provided parking for your tow vehicles if your trailer took up most of your site space - great touch! Again, I didn't need to use those spaces because the overflow spot was massive!
Location (5 stars): I was there for mountain biking at Crested Butte Ski Resort and it was maybe 15 minutes each morning to get there...simply ideal! For me the location was perfect and as mentioned above, you can get to town very easily. Oh, and if you do stay here and like deli food, you have got to check out Frank's Deli (right next to the supermarket)...it was insane! There is also a river at the back of the resort and I could have sat there for hours listening to the water run by...really beautiful location.
Cleanliness (5 stars): I found the resort to be spotless...no trash laying around anywhere, the dumpsters were super clean (and got emptied my last day there) and the bathrooms were super clean too.
Site Quality (5 stars): I walked around the resort and the spaces are great with plenty of room and I like how there are not a ton of spaces...there is a definite "small town charm" to the resort.
Noise (5 stars): This might be the best feature of the "overflow site" as I didn't hear anything from any of the other campers at all! :-). There is a kind of tiny industrial park/few buildings along the side of the overflow site, but by 8pm it was silent and it wasn't until around 8am that you could tell there was some traffic, but nothing major at all.
Wi-Fi: The wi-fi was incredibly fast and this was the first stop where I was actually able to stream movies via my AppleTV. Running a speed test I was getting 55Mbps down/22Mbps up...really good!
Cari & Family: I got to meet and speak with Cari and her husband before heading out on my last morning and they were super nice, asked how the stay was, if everything went okay. Fantastic site hosts/owners for sure!
Overall this was a perfect stay and if you are looking to stay around the Crested Butte area, this is the spot!
Cheers,
Travis

Pros- Location, with easy access to the town by bike or bus no need to unhook.
Easy check in, no CC required for reservation
Clean Shower
Cons- No working wifi, no dump site, Overt political and religious signs and flags, tiny gravel gets tracked into your rig, lawns are watered when it's raining (we're in a drought people).
Small overpriced park in a small overpriced town. $100.00 for a pizza and 4 beers...

The CG has good views, but it is in a business park, so there is that.
The dog rules are fairly restrictive and you really can't get to the dog area without walking through someone's campsite.
Even though you aren't far off of the main road, it doesn't impact sleeping, but there is noise.
The sites are fairly close together.
There is no dump station or sewer connections, here, you must use the municipal facility.

Sites are indeed close together and not having sewage hookup is not ideal for extended stays yet we can’t say enough good about CB RV Resort. Everything was really clean. The showers and restroom in particular (we usually don’t use the public facilities yet without sewage hookup that’s a necessity) we’re spotless and water pressure was perfect. The public dump site at the top of town was convenient enough for the occasional dump run. There is apparently talk in town to close it which would be a challenge - believe they committed to keep it open through the 2022 season. Great MTB trails straight from the CG. CB is really a mountain bikers dream and sending it down #401 surrounded by the most amazing wildflowers is nothing short of epic. Great job to CB RV resort. We will be back next summer… (oh: must try Secret Stash Pizza in town…)

Everyone was friendly and no one was up late partying. Dogs are allowed and have a little designated area to play but they can't go on some of the nice grass patches (probably why they're still lush.)
Nightly rate was a bit steep but we had a long weekend here and it was such a nice getaway! Lots of beautiful hikes near by, got to do a little offroading, and it's hard not to love Crested Butte!
Would definitely recommend!
There is WiFi but it didn't reach our site very well. Verizon LTE was fairly consistent though. Couldn't get any TV channels on the antenna... Could be user error though, I'm not super familiar with our antenna yet.
Electric and water hookups but no sewer. There's a station 2 miles away in town. Haven't used it yet but don't think it'll be much of an issue.

The office has very limited hours (something like 9 - 11am) and luckily I didn't need to engage with them for any reason. We drove in, found our spot and set up. Quiet location and relatively close to town. There was 1 set of rooms for women and 1 for men, separate toilet from shower space. They were adequately clean, but used heavily. Nice common area for picnicking, bon fires, and play area for kids. Electric and water service only for a rather pricy fee. There were a lot of rules about refunds, what you could and couldn't do, etc....felt stiff and inflexible - which was in direct contrast to never seeing anyone involved with the campground. I'd go again due to proximity to town, but there are other options not too far away that are also compelling to use.

“They will steal your money if you book with them whether you stay with them or not!”
noted 7/2/2021
Please read all reviews of this park BEFORE you book. Their cancellation policies are a total scam and they will happily steal money from you (100% of the booking fee) even if you cancel your reservation weeks in advance. The customer service is completely non-existent and their business practices are unethical. Will be reviewing anywhere I possibly can to warn all campers to avoid this park. READ VERY CAREFULLY before you commit! Better yet, run the other way!
“Horrible Customer Experience!”
noted 6/29/2020
Crested Butte RV Resort has let my family stranded by abruptly canceling a confirmed reservation made over a month ago! Absolutely atrocious customer experience. The owners showed no empathy or compassion and had the audacity to simply respond with “happy travel”. Absolutely ridiculous and highly recommend passing on this location. I believe this RV Resort is the only one in Crested Butte with the business owner’s fully aware and act without care.
