We used this as a launching point to visit Burlington and this campground has a lot going for it. Spacious, well-thought out sites, a clean shower house, a nice pool (though we stayed out of season), and a LOT of firewood available. The owner showed a lot of hospitality and knowledge of the area. The other campers included several families and groups enjoying the outdoors. We went through a lot of backroads to get here from upstate New York and enjoyed (most of) the drive. Google Maps, after we decided not to try the Ticongeroga Ferry, took us through some dicey-looking spots, but we had no real issues. Went through a covered bridge near Brandon that we quite enjoyed and had no problem with clearance in our 12 foot high motorhome. The Camp Host invites those with bigger rigs to call ahead for the best route. Burlington (an hour away) offers MANY activities, shops, and restaurants. Lake Champlain has beautiful views as well.

This nice little campground has really decent cell service for Verizon (AT&T not so much) and better-than-most WiFi. From around 7pm to 8am, I found that the WiFi would easily stream any service. Cell service will also allow streaming at night, but closer to 10pm. During the day, both are pretty good for connecting to work, though the Verizon cell service may get spotty between 10am and 2pm.
We visited several other parts of VT and found the cell service to be next to non-existent, so we were glad we stayed here.
No sewer, but they pump you out on Wednesdays for $10. Like a couple of other campgrounds, they charge you for throwing away your garbage. $1.50 for a 13 gallon bag and $2.50 for a 33 gallon bag. They also have recycling bins.
Located just 4 miles from Brandon, we'd definitely stay here again. They have a fairly new looking pool, but didn't get a chance to try it out.
It's quite quiet at night and the campground doesn't get muddy after a rain.
