Very clean and well taken care of park. Located in town, so you can walk to nearby restaurants. It is located near a main street and train track, so if you are a light sleeper, it might bother you. A good place to stop for a few days. Felt secure with perimeter fence and gate code access. Our dog loved the grass!

Cons - Industrial area which seems a little sketchy. The park is protected with a 6 foot fence with a gate that gets locked at 7pm. No cable TV. Trains go behind the park and can be a bit obnoxious when they go by in the middle of the night occasionally.
If you are staying in Alamosa, this is a great choice. The park is very new and clean. Grass between each site which is appreciated. Close but you don't feel right up on your neighbor.
There's not a lot to do in Alamosa. Check out the sand dunes, get some supplies, but other than that, I think it's a bit of a pass through town. With that said, if I was in the area again, I would not hesitate to stay in this park.
Cell service was good on both ATT and Verizon. Although it wasn't needed as their wifi was very strong and stable for a private park.
Jess would stay here again

“They take CV-19 seriously in Alamosa”

This is a newer, well maintained RV park, with mostly Seasonal fithwheel residents. Toilets and showers were closed due to CV-19. Great security and friendly neighbors. Downtown Alamosa location. Rio Grande River trail is close by, as is Walmart. Lots to do in the area.

Ok so disclaimer, we didn't actually stay here at the park. But during our trip we ran out of potable water. I tried several service stations with no luck, before I found them our only choice looked to be a sweet water machine for filling 5 gallon bottles. Called Cool Sunshine and the said yes it would be $5 to fill out fresh water tank. When we arrived, we found the park to be gated, and extremely well kept. The sites were nice and level. Next time we are in the area we will be staying here for the night.

Sites are huge and can accommodate any size trailer. Road is gravel as are the pads. Full-hookups. We stayed here while we were waiting for our home to be built. The sites seem expensive for where this is. The park is in the middle of an old industrial area of Alamosa and half of the sites butt up against the railroad tracks, which were VERY active when we were there. So, it was loud. Length-wise the sites are long, but the sites are not very wide so your neighbors are really close by.
It a new park and everything looks very nice. The trees were just planted so it may take some time until there is shade. The sun is intense at this elevation, and most of the days are sunny. Beware of leaving your awnings out as well. It is very windy in this area and it can happen at any moment.
They have one bathhouse at the office, a playground, and a picnic shelter.
Options in this area for camping are limited. There's the KOA which is always full and expensive, and a couple economy campgrounds off of Rt. 160. You can find cheaper options, but overall this is a new nice park that is worth checking out.
