WILL SOLAR WORK HERE? Has anyone successfully used solar here at the Coconino Rim Road dispersed campsites? Lots of reviews mentioning all the trees and shade.

Yes, I have used solar here every time under shade trees. There are lots of spots with trees and shade, but there are so many spaces around this area that, with some patience, you would be able to find one in full sun if you needed. These are tall pines, sun filters through even in the shady areas. You just need to pick your spot with solar in mind and how long during the day you will need it.

Yes! Have 3 flat-mounted 190W panels on a Class A. Parked in a mixed shaded area. Was getting close to 140 Amp-hrs for the day when sunny. We did run the generator about 40 min to an hour B4 nightfall as the late afternoons/nights were chilly

If you used the typical formula for "how much solar you need" probably not. It you have adjusted your panel output and battery capacity to actually work, you will probably be fine.
