Campground is behind the park, it’s hidden and not very busy. Nice covered table with lights and electric. A few spots had water. We had t mobile service and the park has WiFi.

The mention of 8 sites means there are 4 shelters, 2 per shelter, which means you could potentially have to share. That said, we were here the end of July and there are only 3 campers. Sites have water and electric (30 and 50 amp). Nice, big shade trees, well-kept grass, very pretty little park. Quiet. Concrete pads at the shelters. We have a 22’ pull trailer but site could easily accommodate a big rig. Park offers basketball court, disc golf course, public swimming pool.

This was our first Boondocking experience and first Campendium stay. Would stay again.
Big rig friendly. No negatives to report. It’s not a place to post up for a week but a clean, quiet, safe place to get some sleep and cook dinner on the road.

Chautauqua Park in Beloite, Kansas, is a GREAT free campground. It’s well maintained and quiet. There are 8 sites with electricity. You can stay up to 10 days in a 60 day period. There is no charge but you can/should leave a donation. The campsites have a covered pavilion with two large picnic tables, plus one that’s not covered by a fire ring. You share the spot with another rig, but the way they set up the plug-ins, you retain your privacy. There are water spigots close by and a dump station on the premises. The park has tennis, basketball, frisbee golf and even a community pool, plus a small river. I stayed here a week and loved it. Thank you, Beloit!

Some are close to water. Rumor has it they are adding more concrete pads as they don’t want people camping on the grass unless they are in a tent. There is power located on grassy areas where tents can set up.
It took us a bit to figure out where we could camp as two pads are connected to a shelter house. It wasn’t clear if we should jump into spot next to some one we didn’t know.
It was also somewhat different than you’d expect because if you back in on one side, your camper door is on the opposite side of the pavilion, on the other side your power would be on the opposite side of your rig as the power box is on the pavilion poll.
Dump station isn’t marked well- but it is near a hose and a building at the front of the park in the middle of a parking lot.
There is a kids playground, large shelter house, frisbee golf course that surrounds the park, a tennis and basketball court as well as a pool during summer hours.
Beloit is not a huge town, and only has a few places to eat - but does have a grocery store and gas stations near the park.

There are several sites where you can stay here. All have electric (we had 50 amp) and some are close to water spigots. A few are on the water. It’s not very clear where the sites are but you can eventually figure it out. Good Att LTE signal here. No ota channels. Not much in the town of Beloit but a decent grocery store.
