15 mins from Mammoth Cave National Park. About 20 mins to shopping.
Sites are all full hookup and pretty level though gravel. Some have complained about train noise. You can hear the train occasional but wasn’t a nuisance.

This campground isn't just convenient (a hop, skip, and a jump to the cave tours), it's a haven of cleanliness and nice facilities.
Let's start with the sparkling showers. Forget the usual campground showers – these were immaculate, spacious, and boasted amazing water pressure. No more lukewarm dribbles here! After a day of exploring the caves, a hot shower in this haven was *chef’s kiss*.
The laundry facilities were equally impressive. No overflowing machines or questionable scents here. Mammoth Cave Haven's laundry room was clean, well-maintained.
But beyond the sparkling showers and laundry, the entire campground was impeccably clean. The grounds were well-maintained, the restrooms spotless, and the overall atmosphere was one of care and attention to detail.

Most impeccably manicured RV Park facility I have seen in years of traveling. Beautiful landscape, heated pool, clean laundry facilities. We stopped off for one night but would definitely return and stay longer. New gazebo with swings next to our site. Amenities centrally located. There was a loud train in the early morning hours but the interstate is far enough away to not hear.
The lower number sites are more shaded and by a hill, if you can get them. But there are some decent sized trees along the other row. Cannot say enough about how impressive the manicured landscaping was.

The trains, trucks and septic tank business next door make noise 24/7. We wouldn’t stay longer than an overnight again.

I dont know why more reviews aren’t mentioning the trains. They are one right after the other and extremely loud!! Not to mention the freeway right next door. It’s clean, level, and well laid out but I would not have stayed here if I had known trains were going by constantly. It is not a peaceful place to stay.

We did stay here again, and it was still as good as it was, when we were last here! So friendly and still an awesome bathhouse. 🙂 This is our go-to place for the night on our way to Florida… and to top it off, a Buc-ees is coming soon just a couple exits south of it!

There are several restaurants you can walk to from the campground. All the sites are spacious and pull thru with full elec, water, and sewer hook ups. All sites are flat and level. The bathroom and showers were super clean- probably the nicest I have ever been to. There is a laundry room with 2 washer/dryers ($1.50/load) which worked very well. There is a small inground pool that was super nice. We definitely enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. The staff was super friendly and nice and escorted us to our site.
