Had a great week at cave city with the family. We had a lot of trouble with our fifth wheel figuring stuff out at we’re new full-timers and this was the best place we could have been. A great place for visiting mammoth cave np.

The sites are all pull through and altho they are gravel, ours was level. The office is nice and managers are friendly. They are doing their best to keep customers safe and are practicing CDC pandemic guidelines. There are plenty of places to walk dogs and all grassy areas are clean. There is a Cracker Barrel near by. We would definitely camp here again.

( Here in May 2020, On tail end of covid Thing) May be more crowded when things open up but you won't be disappointed... Friendly Staff and great laundry facility too!! We are full timers and this worked great for us to rest a week...Train goes by a couple times a day and sometimes at night so there is a little noise from that but it didn't bother us that much....CamperManDan....

The customer service was phenomenal. When I arrived, the gentleman working the front asked if I’d like to be close to the dog park instead of on the opposite end when he saw I had two dogs. He also offered to let me borrow a coaxial cable so I could watch cable TV if I wanted. The sites are gravel and very level. Each space is separated by a grassy area, fire pit and picnic table. All hookups worked perfectly. They offer garbage pickup at your site. I felt very safe here. As others have mentioned, the dog park side of the park is right next to some train tracks so you may want to sleep with your fan on.

This was an overnight for us. Very nice bath facilities, level, pull-through spots. Trains sounded their horns throughout the night, so sleep was interrupted. Felt safe and fine for an overnight near 65 if you don't mind the trains.

We happened to camp here by chance and we were so glad we did. This park is very clean, sites are level and roomy. Bathhouse is so clean and modern. Laundry facilities available. It is very quiet at the park. The owners and staff are super friendly. We definitely hope to come back.

Right off the highway and easy to get to. All sites are pull-thru (big rig friendly). Sites are gravel with grassy areas in-between. They also offer overflow parking. As with most campgrounds you are close to your neighbors. Due to where the sewer, electric and water were located we had to pull the trailer further in and park the truck behind the trailer. Site 22 has a nice tree so we had some shade. The site was also very level. The campground was very clean.
We both work remotely with a hotspot. We normally had 2 bars with the cell booster. We were a little surprised with the cell coverage. We had thought it would be better. The Wi-Fi was ok. We tried this for work as well and at times it did get bogged down and was slow. At night we were able to stream a movie. As mentioned it did get a little bogged down the busier the campground got or later in the evening.
Mammoth Cave is close by as well as other cave attractions. Lots of fast food restaurants and a few other restaurants within walking distance. There is a liquor store nearby but the nearest decent grocery store is in Glasgow (Food Lion) about 20 minutes away. Wal-Mart is in that area as well, along with other amenities.
The campground has restrooms/showers (we didn't look at) and a laundry facility (open 24 hours). There are 2 washers and 2 dryers. There is a Laundromat in Cave City, that we would definitely recommend called Wash World and Car Wash. Cleanest Laundromat we have ever been to, plus you can wash your vehicle as you wait for your wash. At the campground there is also a small workout room off the office as well as a pool table. You can get your propane filled at the campground. They have trash pick up before 10:00 am. You just need to put it on edge of center road. Our fire ring was a little further away. We wish it wasn't so close to the road and closer to our rig. Some of the positioning of the fire rings were a little weird. It also looked like some sites did not have fire rings. The campground has a dog park, pavilion and rentable clubhouse. There is a park model you can rent.
As for noise there is a train that goes by during the night and early hours of the morning. It might not be so bad if you had your windows closed with the A/C on to block out the noise. We keep the windows open at night so it did get pretty loud as the horn would blow as it went by. You do hear some highway noise.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and consider this campground more as a overnight or week stay. It is only 20 minutes away from Mammoth Cave National Park, so a great place to stay if you are visiting the park or the other caves nearby.

Beautifully laid out park with mostly pull through. Landscaping is beautiful with grass pads between spots. Laundry and showers very nice. Managers of the park were very nice and friendly. I think any sized rig can fit. Nice sized grassed and fenced dog yard. Wifi is good as well as cable.
