Right off the highway and easy to get to. All sites are pull-thru (big rig friendly). Sites are gravel with grassy areas in-between. They also offer overflow parking. As with most campgrounds you are close to your neighbors. Due to where the sewer, electric and water were located we had to pull the trailer further in and park the truck behind the trailer. Site 22 has a nice tree so we had some shade. The site was also very level. The campground was very clean.
We both work remotely with a hotspot. We normally had 2 bars with the cell booster. We were a little surprised with the cell coverage. We had thought it would be better. The Wi-Fi was ok. We tried this for work as well and at times it did get bogged down and was slow. At night we were able to stream a movie. As mentioned it did get a little bogged down the busier the campground got or later in the evening.
Mammoth Cave is close by as well as other cave attractions. Lots of fast food restaurants and a few other restaurants within walking distance. There is a liquor store nearby but the nearest decent grocery store is in Glasgow (Food Lion) about 20 minutes away. Wal-Mart is in that area as well, along with other amenities.
The campground has restrooms/showers (we didn't look at) and a laundry facility (open 24 hours). There are 2 washers and 2 dryers. There is a Laundromat in Cave City, that we would definitely recommend called Wash World and Car Wash. Cleanest Laundromat we have ever been to, plus you can wash your vehicle as you wait for your wash. At the campground there is also a small workout room off the office as well as a pool table. You can get your propane filled at the campground. They have trash pick up before 10:00 am. You just need to put it on edge of center road. Our fire ring was a little further away. We wish it wasn't so close to the road and closer to our rig. Some of the positioning of the fire rings were a little weird. It also looked like some sites did not have fire rings. The campground has a dog park, pavilion and rentable clubhouse. There is a park model you can rent.
As for noise there is a train that goes by during the night and early hours of the morning. It might not be so bad if you had your windows closed with the A/C on to block out the noise. We keep the windows open at night so it did get pretty loud as the horn would blow as it went by. You do hear some highway noise.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and consider this campground more as a overnight or week stay. It is only 20 minutes away from Mammoth Cave National Park, so a great place to stay if you are visiting the park or the other caves nearby.

Beautifully laid out park with mostly pull through. Landscaping is beautiful with grass pads between spots. Laundry and showers very nice. Managers of the park were very nice and friendly. I think any sized rig can fit. Nice sized grassed and fenced dog yard. Wifi is good as well as cable.

pull through. The park is pristine, with a lot of attention to landscaping and the office/restroom facilities. We used this as a midway stop en route to Chicago and spent several hours in Mammoth Caves National Park after setting up camp. Only things preventing me from giving it 5 stars were the train and highway noise and slow wifi. Hosts/check-in/reservation staff were very helpful and nice.

After camping at some gross places recently, this was a welcome change. Super clean bathrooms and campground. Wonderfully nice attendants that went the extra mile. They even had a workout room so I could squeeze in a quick workout while my baby was napping!
They did have internet but it was very slow

This is one of the best landscaped RV Campgrounds we've stayed in, except one on the gulf of Mexico in Florida. It is so very well maintained, has full hook ups and is big rig friendly. What was sad was that we stayed here over the 4th of July and they weren't full booked! But then there are a number of other campgrounds in the area.
Our arrival was great, met by a work camper, who was just so cheerful and couldn't do enough to make our stay pleasant. She had a stack of brochures to help us acclimate to the area and was willing to answer all questions. Later, we learned she is a recent breast cancer survivor! She KNOWS how precious life is and she just exuded joy. I actually thought she was the owner.
There was nothing they could do to make it a better experience. We came to spend a lot of time hiking in the Mammoth Cave State Park. As it turned out, hiking there was a bit of a challenge. We've written several posts in our blog about it, attached.
The worst part about the area was typical rural Kentucky we've now learned. Another couple missed the actual exit sign off the highway. The signs just aren't that clear. But we were given GREAT directions from the office and I would recommend following it to the letter (turn at the McDonalds and ignore your GPS).
We had all the connectivity we needed, Wifi included in the price and no problems with Direct TV satellite signal.
