“Incredible, Private spot near JTNP entrances”

Overall Rating

Fully dry camping with one porta potty. Incredible location, amazingly private, easy to get in and out, and lots of space for kids to play. As previous reviewers have mentioned, cute animals for kids to play with. Owners offered discounts on horseback rides for guests.
We initially planned to stay in the BLM area just north of here, but read recent reviews about solar panels and batteries being stolen, and ATVs and loud music late into the night. Stumbled upon Cascade Trails, and were SO thankful we did. All the privacy and open space of the BLM land, but zero threat of anything getting stolen since it’s on private land. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

“Close to Joshua Tree, cute animals, quiet”

Overall Rating

We booked this place because we wanted some time with animals, and to be close to the park. It's a large, quiet property with glamping tents and a geodome. They have goats, horses you can feed carrots to, chickens, dogs, puppies, and a couple cats. Watch for dogs running around when you enter. The owners were present but quiet.

There are only two spots for RVs, but they were not busy, so both spots were available. The site is fairly level dirt with a fire pit and full sun. Nearby is a clean porto-potty, some hammocks and the game cornhole. Cell service was good and we were able to work from there. There's no dump station or water.

Location is close to the north entrance of Joshua Tree NP, which has more to see than the southern part. Groceries stores and gas stations are nearby in either direction. It's also not far from Pioneertown, the old Western movie set town.
