Overall Rating
Several other RV’s and very quiet after store closed. Nice Walmart and no problems staying overnight. Great place to sleep after long day at Joshua Tree National Park.

Overall Rating
After a fun day at Joshua Tree National Park, it was nice to park here for the night. Because of the other RV's and big rigs parked, we felt pretty safe. Our parking spot was flat too!

Got caught in the Joshua Tree area when extreme winds made boondocking risky. Got caught in the Joshua Tree area when extreme winds made boondocking risky. Based on reviews here, we checked out the Walmart parking lot and found an area on the east side that was partially blocked from the worst of the winds.
It felt secure, despite a fair amount of traffic, largely due to the presence of other RVs and a security patrol.
The parking lot slopes away from the building but I was able to throw a couple of blocks under the front wheels and get more or less level.

Called ahead to confirm that they allow overnight parking. They do! Saw a few other RVs there. Very busy Walmart . There is security that drives around the parking lot. We had no problems and felt very safe .

Stayed on site between walmart and home depot. Walmart is closed at 12 Pm so quiet at night. WiFi in camper from walmart
