I had site 50 which was large and level. Very quiet even on weekends. Wine tasting and live music on Saturday. 2 bars on Verizon- I was able to stream shows. Good electric. Did I say Quiet-aaah!

Arrival and check in are very easy. The sites are level, well spaced, and mostly pull through. We had 65 and it was very easy in and out. One of our favorite places for seafood is the town of Calabash, a short 20 minute drive from the campground. This made for a convenient stopover on our way down the east coast. My only slight knock was low cell phone signal, but that’s not a huge deal unless you happen to need it for work. Our signal was back and forth between 1 bar and 2 bars. I would imagine a booster would work quite well here.
We would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful place so if you want private you have it. Level sites gravel with nice picnic tables and fire pit. WiFi is not good and ATT service only 1 bar. Nice staff.

But... the beautiful fields, gardens, and hardwood trees make it very peaceful. We visited during COVID pandemic and felt very safe using washing machines and dryers. There is a nice pool (we didn’t use), horse shoe pits, volleyball are, nice covered deck to lounge on, dog runs, and a winery (we didn’t go in).

WiFi was typical CG quality, but sufficient. Park personnel very helpful & friendly. CG is located off the beaten path, but there is an older IGA (supermarket) a few miles down the road where you can find necessities. Small pond for catch & release. Nice quiet place to hang out for a few days.
