We stayed here for 7 nights over Thanksgiving week. We were in B 55. We have a 30’ trailer and we fit nicely. Our site was private but the sun never made it to the ground. The campground is close to the highway but we never heard highway noise but could hear the roar of the ocean. There is a 1/2 mile trail from the campground to the beach. It goes under the highway at China Creek. The beach is very wide and a mile or so long. Longer if you want to cross a few creeks.
Cell service for Verizon is nonexistent. We did get one bar out on the beach.
My only complaint was the weird sewer hookups they have. I included a picture. There is ample opportunities to go hiking on trails near by.

I stayed 1 night here in May 2022 as part of a northward road-trip up the coast and immediately wished that I had more time in my itinerary. I stayed in site 43, which was adjacent to a rushing creek which provided a welcome constant bubbling of the white noise of nature. Just one site over was the trailhead for the 1/2 mile trail to the beach. Although the campground appeared completely full, it still was peaceful and amazingly quiet for the occupancy level. The trail to the beach was like a beautiful, lush, green tunnel which then opens up onto miles of open beach and shoreline. The other trails that leave from the campground were nice as well, and even with a full campground I only saw 1 other person on the trail in the late afternoon. Everything I saw appeared well-maintained and well-managed. I did have this reserved ahead of arrival, and it was one of the more expensive campgrounds I stayed in, but I would definitely return.

We didn't hang out in the CG, but many seemed to be doing so. A little too much humanity for my taste, but a well run park with less of the bells and whistles of South Beach up in Newport, where we also spent two nights. But ZERO Verizon bars anywhere near the park, or indeed out on 101 until Heceta lighthouse. Reservation necessary months in advance.

Amazing area in the oregon coast. The park is full of trees and pretty nice. Our smaller loop had sites a bit more private than the rest so recommend this loop. Nice access to trails from the park.

Beautiful 1/2 mile trail to the beach where the dawgs enjoyed their BIGGEST dog park ever. Located about 10 miles north of Florence. Absolutely no service, but I really can't ding the park a star for this if you are aware of this ahead of time. At the beach, text messages came in.

The campground is open again after issues with Covid and state budget. It is also now on the reservation system.
Nice separation of sites, very clean good spacing. All are back-in sites, but easy to navigate.
Very clean restrooms and staff have been making improvements. Good spot.
Trails are well groomed. Beach walk is easy (you go under the highway thank goodness). Great stretch of beach, Dogs loved it. Hike to Heceta Head and the lighthouse was really nice too, not more than a few miles with some elevation gain.
Sites are water and electric or tent. RV dump is across the highway and free. flush water and potable water available.
No cell service!
And bring a jacket, sites are wooded but that breaks the coastal breezes.

Great state park with clean sites, bathrooms and showers. There are several hiking trails and an easy flat one to the beach. We stumbled upon this place after deciding to leave the campground we intended to stay. This is a gem. Great wooded, flat spots for trailers. Everything is clearly marked.

First, this is not a free site, our host has been 6 years and there has always been a fee. TENTS are 10, and RV sites run from 17 to 31. Full service sites are limited and iffy on the sewer. They prefer you use the dump station. Most spaces are paved but can be tight, width wide. We will stay here again, when not working.
