Question about Canyon Vista Campground

Does anyone know if this campground is open during the winter? Forest Service site says yes, but I wanted to doublecheck.

No, it closes at the end of October, and doesn't open until May. At least that's been my experience.

Just checked out campground and also learned closed end of October
