Unfortunately, many parks around GR are closed after September. We had plans to stay at a CG in a nearby town, but it turned out to be rather scummy and expensive, so we turned to the Day’s End Directory and found this CW that allows you to overnight for free. We actually stayed for 2 nights. No purchases or scheduled repairs necessary to stay. 30amp hookup.
They usually have a dump and propane available, but both are closed for construction.
Really no complaints for being able to stay for free with an electric hookup. The gate closes around 7pm, so make sure your vehicle is in the lot before that time.
It is very close to everything, so it is a bit noisy, especially during the day, but at night, it really wasn’t too bad. Good Verizon coverage.
