Could not ask for a more accommodating host. Made a last minute decision to get away for a couple of days over Labor Day weekend. This campground was near family so we checked and got in due to a last-minute cancellation. When we arrived we found our site was literally facing the main entrance to the park and not far from a very busy road. We ran into Dan (the owner) and asked if he had anything else available. This is the part where 90% of the time you hear, “sorry, that’s all we have available, will you be paying with cash or credit?” But not this time. Dan was able to make some adjustments and got us into a nice, shaded lot with a full hookup. The only drawback was the 30 amp service, for which I did not have the correct adapter. No problem. Dan went to his office, grabbed an adapter that fit our rig, and hooked us up…with no extra charge. Overall nice park with a good-sized (and clean) pool. We’ll stay here again.

The bathroom/shower smelled bad and the electric was always in and out on hot days.

Honey wagon costs extra. Pool was never very crowded but laundry was always in use. $5 load on the honor system. Lots of seasonal rigs that were older with a lot of stuff around them. Also rigs are being stored between some sites. These things give the place a very crowded feel.

Was here for 4 nights visiting family. Don, the owner, was great about our request to be in a quiet area. We had an issue backing our trailer and he helped us get situated. Didn't use the pool or other amenities, but the bathroom/showers were very clean.

New owner was fixing, cleaning, and painting the 3 days we were there. Seems to be really shining up the place. There were a lot of seasonals, but plenty of space for us, and our site was rather large.
Wifi was good, as there were 5 different connection options! We had 50amp and Water, and there was a Dump on-site. Owner delivered firewood to us.

I arrived on a Sunday and was assigned a site with a lot of open space around it. Sites up at Baldwin Ave were very noisy. If you get a spot behind the office, you won't hear any traffic noise just the occasional train sound off in the distance. WiFi was intermittent and not all that great. OTA TV - NBC and ABC, but no CBS. Very convient to Grand Rapids. The washing machines were very small, but got the job done.

My wife and I have actually camped here twice this year. Liked it so much the first time, we registered again later in the season (we have relatives in Grand Rapids.) The campground came under new ownership in February of 2017. The new owner works really hard to make your stay comfortable and your needs met. They don't call it "Baldwin Oaks" for nothing! There are tons of trees, (both oaks and pines.) The campsites have electric and water hookups, fire rings, plenty of space at each site, and plenty to do. The restrooms and laundry are immaculate, as is the in-ground pool. There is also a nice playground for the kids. A Worship Service is usually provided on Sunday mornings. There is plenty of shopping in the surrounding area. It is also located nicely in between Grand Rapids and Holland, Michigan.
