This campground is in a beautiful setting. The sites seem adequately sized, but very close together. Some sites share a power pedestal which contains a 30 amp and a 50 amp connection. My neighbor arrived before me sot the 30 amp connection was in use, I needed a 50 amp to 30 amp dogbone to connect. So if you are 30 amp in one of these sites, ensure you have a dogbone. If not, they are for sale in the camp store. Site 21 appears to be the only site on a concrete pad and sits right on the river bank. I think it is probably the best site in the park. Some good hiking nearby and Camp Nelson National Memorial is not to be missed. As mentioned before, two bathhouses, a pool, camp store and very nice staff. The laundry room has 10 brand new all in one washer/dryers. If you try to dry camp, be aware during the fall/winter there is not alot of sunlight here due to the tall palisades on the south side. Lots of birds to watch, particularly the turkey and black vultures cruising the cliffs. If you are sensitive to noise, you may be bothered by the highway bridge just east of the park. You can hear the vehicles cross, but it wasn't a problem for us.
This was probably a hopping area in years past. Now it just looks dated and tired. Mostly occupied with long-term trailers many of which are quite run down which gives it a bit of junky feel. Never felt unsafe though, everyone seemed nice.
I had good Starlink connection here, though with some sites the trees would be a problem.
If it was my only option, I would stay here again, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

The location of this RV park is so beautiful and unique! It is surrounded by palisade walls, caves and the river! Just a gorgeous area! Very safe and low key park with a pool and small playground. Any size rig, easy in and out, different rates depending on stay length.
Alicia would stay here again

“Not Good”

We checked this so called RV park out. There is no way I would pull my RV into this place. Not a nice.looking area. Check out campgrounds before.you pull your RV into them. That's what we do.

The pool is amazing! The campground itself has so much natural beauty and is very relaxing.
There is a little camp store, 2 bathhouses, laundry room with vending, playground, and lots of beautiful areas to go on walks. Pet friendly and family friendly.

“A place where old RVs go to die.”

Many sites were what appeared to be permanent residents in poor repair, blue tarped, or mossy RVs or transient construction workers. Restrooms buggy and not clean. We were there in the fall, but pool was pea green water. One restroom closed and roof falling in. Staff friendly, but not the place you want to spend vacation time.
