Campsite was great, had a good view of the lake. Easy walk to the water, no high bank. The other sections had a high drop off to the water with high grass at the edge. Bathhouse had 4 individual universal rooms. I prefer that for in case you have a disabled partner.
Walked 100' to the fishing spot. The water looked good but didn't catch anything. Maybe the blue herons beat us to the fish.

We stayed here in a 44’ class a during the polar vortex of January 2024. The campground was mostly empty. Sites are all concrete and about 10’ wide. Sites E101 through E140 are build on a hill. Most of these sites have a partial view of the lake. Sites farther from the lake overlook the lower sites near the lake. We stayed in site E131 electric and water and site E109 FHU.
Sites E201-E217 are situated in a lower and more flat part of the campground. These site might give more shelter from the wind than up on the hill.

Not a bad COE but unfortunately they were on a boil water situation related to bacteria. Poor water pressure for shower but glad we had a decent amount of water in our tank from home.
Sites on a hill so each site had a good view. Poor Wi-Fi for us.
Dump station is at the entrance is only one sided.

We arrived about 3:30 PM and check in was quick and easy. We proceeded to back-in site E139 with water & 50/30 AMP. The signage to our area had a R in front of the site numbers but all the site numbers on the posts have an E in front of them, so be aware of this discrepancy if coming in late. Back-in was easy on to the narrow pad that was long enough for our 39’ 5th wheel and F-450 truck parked in front, but not by much. There was a very nice deck with the fire pit/bbq nicely placed right off the deck. Site 140 next to us with the other deck is actually a pull through double site. Longest sites in this area of the CG are 109 - 113. Other sites had short pads so be sure to check the length when you reserve. All of the pads in the CG looked fairly level. We got 2 bars on Verizon and a handful of OTA channels. With the amount of trees in the CG satellite could be iffy. Water pressure was okay at around 35 psi. The CG also had a separate and very nice tent area near the playground. They were remodeling the main restroom/shower so it was closed during our stay, but there was another facility in each RV area (100 and 200) that had toilets and a shower but were older and in need of updating. We stayed over the weekend and the CG was very busy. We enjoyed the great water view from the deck on our site during our 4 night’s stay.

We brought our grandsons here to celebrate their 6th & 8th birthday and they really enjoyed it. Our view when we woke up was stunning, we walked and enjoyed the views, visited a beach area beside the lake to skip rocks and study the shells.
Park was well maintained, clean and despite being the Thanksgiving holiday week it was very quiet. There was a small playground that entertained them for a while, no hiking trails but the roads that ran through the camp were great for getting out and walking to see the beautiful nature in this area.
Our only issue was being unable to find the camp host to ask the location of the dump station, it is on the right side of the road as you enter but the sign wasn't very visible. we actually left, asked at the main office and then came back in to empty our tanks prior to heading out.

There is RV Area 1, where I camped and RV Area 2. If I come back, I will definitely camp in RV Area 2 next time. The showers in RV area 2 are unisex, with locking doors and very clean compared to the showers in RV area 1. Additionally, RV area 2 has less pads and more room between sites. The pads in both RV areas are concrete but not quite level. Bring your blocks.

The area is nice and we saw some interesting wildlife, namely black vultures in a flock at the water's edge. There were a lot of campers, possibly due to some kind of fishing tournament going on.
The park was quiet at night.
We did see a group of men on a golf cart hanging around the restroom and several of them went into the women's side for a while. I found that disturbing.
The restrooms themselves were clean enough, but like another COE park on this lake, the showers were to me unusable. That's because there's only one, and the changing area is open, no door, and can be easily looked into by just opening the outside door! There are just two toilets, one of which was clogged when I checked it. There's another restroom facility at the bottom of the loop, a good walk away from where we were at the top of the hill, which did have a door to the changing area. Too far to walk comfortably for me though.
Except for the restroom issues, it's a nice enough park for a few days stay.

Restroom closest to entry had water leak and fire ant infestation. Problem reported to gate attendent Sandy on Thursday a.m. and neighbor was told to flag down cleaning crew. No cleaning of bathrooms occurred. Bugs littering floor and counter were being carried away by the fire ants. Restroom to the right of gate had lights malfunctioned

We booked this campground based on the great online reviews. We arrived on a Friday afternoon. We had registered online, so check-in was quick and easy. The trash dumpsters were overflowing with garbage and really smelled bad. The restroom and showers were in disrepair and were not clean. The park was crowded and a little on the noisy side. Other campers were very friendly. On the positive side...the scenery was beautiful and the tent camping sites were very nice. This would be a great campground if the staff would just take care of it.
