We arrived after closing at dusk, but folks in neighboring sites were helpful as we backed our 45’ motorhome into a tight but adequate and level site. The power and water were on the passenger side rear, but I don’t think it was a pull in site since the sewer was on the drivers side. There were several pull through sites with big rigs, but with the tight turns and slopes, I was glad to hook up the toad near the exit. Private toilet/bathroom was comfortable and clean. It’s obvious that work has recently been done to improve conditions, but the topography is still a challenge.
Unfortunately along I-81 in this area there aren't many options. This KOA seems a better choice than nearby Rocky Top, which has a very steep entrance on the side of a hill.

You know what you’re getting. Sites are mostly level, the park is on a hill, so the access roads are sloped.

Blinds were down but if you have your face against the window you can see threw the gap at the end of the blind. I tried to find him the next couple days before we left but he didn’t show his face till after I left. Sites aren’t very good, my sewer connection was broke when I got there and they did nothing to fix it. Do your self a favor go somewhere else.

The nice girl at the front desk said she had to charge us a $10 fee (in addition to what we pre-paid) for arriving early or else the owner, who she said was a "hot head," would get mad at her. WHAT! We said we didn't want to pay that and we'd wait until check-in time to go to the site. Then the owner in a golf cart comes over to us and starts yelling at us that we have to leave. WHAT! We said no problem, give us a full refund. He says he already processed the refund. Then he yells at us that we're not following the rules. No words to describe how HORRIBLE this man treated customers and employees. We've been RVing for years and and we've never come across a park owner this hostile. Rating is a ZERO.

Crappy gravel roads. Very hilly. Crowded sites. Zero privacy. Unlevel. Muddy when raining. Dog crap everywhere in the dog park. Way overpriced. My site was 60.23. I regret spending the money to stay here. I could've just boondocked at the Cracker Barrel at the same exit on the interstate.

This means our 42-foot motorhome's tow bar dragged on the pavement in several spots, and our pull-through site was so unlevel, we couldn't get level even with all the wood blocks we use under our tires/jacks. The sites were also very close together. We've stayed at the other campground nearby and while it's also hilly, we had no issues with bottoming out or leveling, and it was slightly less expensive, so that will be our go-to in the area next time.

Passing through and called ahead for availability. One pull-thru FHU/50amp available. Gravel site was good, level with concrete patio/chairs and fire pit. Shower/toilets clean. Some full-timers but overall an easy access off I-80 without traffic noise. A bit high even with a KOA card.
