Access is easiest from the west side of the Carrabelle bridge from Highway 98, right on CR379 to Mill Road. After the paved road ends, continue past the sign for Pickett’s Bay Tract to the short bridge, a total of 5 miles. Cross the bridge and turn right onto West River Road for just under 2 miles. The road to the campsite will be on the left, north of campsite #8 and south of campsite #6. Go left for just under 0.5 miles. The post for campsite #7 will be on the right. Turn here to reach the campsite at the north end of the pond. Please review the overall map for campsites at Tate's Hell State Forest.
