The West side had most of the tent sites with riverfront back in sites. The East side has a boat ramp/docks, group area, a few tent sites and both riverfront and a few tree line back in sites, dump station, playground, showers/restrooms which were clean and lots of open grass area. The camphosts were helpful and very nice.
We stayed in site 21 first for 3 nights, a great site near the boat ramp. Lots of grass area behind the camper leading up to the river for kids or dogs to play. The dogwood tree was a little annoying leaving brown marks on our roof but tolerable and it was nice to have some shade.
We moved to site 23 for a week, I really loved all the shade especially with the high temps, large concrete patio area and lots of grass. It was a perfect space for a family BBQ.
We needed 1 more night so we had to move and went to the only site available #26, not my favorite, the river access wasn't as nice, the site width was more narrow so when we parked the top of the metal picnic table roof was right next to the door and we couldn't move fwd/back due to the slides. Obviously for smaller rigs you might not have that issue. It was fine for 1 night.
The only downside was for Verizon we only had 1 bar.

OK for Short Visits... small CoE park. Only 3 sites have 50 amp. The remaining are 30 amp with water or tent camping. Some back-ins on water have shelters over picnic tables that make it difficult if you have slides. If puling a towed vehicle, I recommend disconnecting before accessing the park. Site 20 has a native pecan tree overhead that will drop pecans on your rig in late fall. You can utilze the front section of the site to escape the pecans but it is very unlevel. Best site, other than the 50 amp sites if needed, I believe is number 11 in the west loop. It is on the end with open space on driver side.

It’s not a pretty place to camp. Grass was high. The grass is at least 4 foot. Bathrooms no toilet paper. No hand soap. It used to be a place to take families to camp but it looks awful now.

This was our first COE stay, so I don't know if its SOP, but you just mark your stay on an COE envelope and put it in their drop box. There is a nice lady that comes by and checks on you and that you paid, but I only saw her twice in the 8 days we were here. Max stay is 14 days, enforced. 30 and 50 amp, city water, and dump station as you leave.
