We stayed here due to its proximity to Arrowhead Stadium for a concert -- it was great! It was about a 20-25 min. drive to the stadium (with traffic!). We stayed at a premiere site. We loved the concrete pad, it made leveling easy. The park was very well-kept and quiet. We will definitely stay here again!

Really like the park. All the sites are very well maintained with open spaces close by to walk the dogs. Sites are not on top of each other so there's plenty of room. Some sites have more trees than others but all in all you should be able to run Starlink on most sites.
Premiere sites vs regular:
Premiere sites appear to all have 50 amp full hookup with new concrete pads and new pick-nick tables. The regular sites are rock and can be a bit challenging to level out on. I read a review that said they used all their level blocks and I can tell that the review was right. The park is on a rolling hill and the premiere sites are more level than the cheaper sites but your still likely to need blocks.
Starlink is working well for us here and I haven't tried setting up our 5G router/modem but I've got 4 bars on TMO, I know that doesn't really mean much but there's a good strong signal anyway. Starlink is a bit more sluggish here than other stops, not sure why but it's still plenty fine for working from the RV like we both do.
Laundry facility is nice, I especially liked the fact that the washer and dryer can be paid for using the app rather than messing with coins. You still need to bring your own soap to wash your hands. There are two working washers and two working dryers as of this posting. I read about them being broken at one point. Didn't use the restroom so I can't comment on that.
All in all a realy nice park, bit on the pricey side but still very nice. There is no water access from the park to the lake so you'll need to take the car down to it. Also saw that there is a dog park at the lake. There isn't a designated dog are here.

Horrible customer service! I reserved a FHU site and upon arrival they said the sites sewer is broken. Instead of offering a premier site (which they had plenty available) or refunding us some money since our site is technically only a water and electric now. They took our money and said screw you! That’s not the camper way.

This place is wonderful. Most of the sites have a tree line view instead of looking to the side of another rv. Staff is very friendly and it is incredibly well-kept. I’m looking forward to coming back again someday.

Would be fun to have jet skis or boat to use on beautiful lake. Saw walking trails outside campground, cyclists riding around. Lots of pets during our stay- no issues, they were all well behaved.
About 15 minutes to Royals/Chiefs stadium’s and 20 mins to uptown KC.

Blue Springs Lake CG offers sites with and without hook-ups and every combination in between. We opted for a 30amp-only site ($29) and used one of the numerous and easy to access spigots to add water to our tank. The sites vary in size, access, and levelness, and if you are hoping for easy parking, your best bet will be the FHU sites (presumably newest). Our site was huge, but it was also probably the least level site we’ve camped in after 3.5 years of being full-time. It was off inches side-to-side, and it was sloped severely backwards. On the plus side, all of the spots are large, offer plenty of privacy, and the park is quiet and very pretty.
Our electricity worked perfectly during our stay, and Verizon was great without a booster. There is an easy to access dump station on the way out with the caveat that a line at the dump station could block the park exit, though we never saw that problem so maybe it isn’t one. The camp hosts were very nice, and the entire CG is very well cared for. The park is conveniently situated for easy access from the highway, and it’s conveniently close to nearly every needed amenity.

Restrooms and showers were very clean, and plenty of hot water. Always a nice breeze.
Kaufman Stadium was close and we attended the Red Sox/Royals game, our basic reason for selecting this campground.
We got plenty of channels using the camper antenna. We would recommend this campground to anyone traveling through the area. We camped here in our 30’ Granddesign Imagine travel trailer.

First, the bad: The bathrooms were somewhat clean but not truly clean. They require you to bring your own hand soap to the bathroom to wash your hands. The push buttons on some of the toilets spray water on you when you push them, leading you to feel like you desperately need to wash your hands extremely thoroughly after, plus just because you know -- you just used the restroom. Without soap, it feels icky. The shower floors were wet and unpleasant, plus the water flow with buttons to turn on the hot water were difficult to use. All of us went back to using the camper shower after one shower in the bathrooms. Our shower is bigger than theirs and doesn't require buttons to keep the water going.
The laundry area was nearly useless as the dryers were all broken and only one washer worked. This had apparently been the case for a while, as other guests came by to check them while we were there and said they had been down a while. There was no sign on the dryers but there was a sign on the washer that was down. We had to take wet clothes out to find a laundromat to dry them and would have been better off to just go to a laundromat. A sign warning people that there were no functioning dryers (so clothes would have to be taken away or hung out to dry) would have been helpful too.
The area is very hilly with differences in elevation front to back and side to side that were significant. Our front driver side stabilizer, for instance, could touch the ground on its own, while the tongue jack and passenger side stabilizer needed significant blocks in order to be able to touch the ground. Expect you will have to do some leveling on any of the gravel sites. We had to use every block we have and we carry a lot of blocks with us.
Also, the access road to the park needs better signage. It is just past a blind section of road, just after a red light. There is a small (6"x6") white sign with just a tent symbol and an arrow pointing towards the road. You turn to the left but the small sign is on the right. By the time you are upon it, you've missed the turn. The rest of the signs for this location before that final difficult to see road are big and colorful (18"x24"), so be on the lookout for something different after the stoplight at the Phillips 66 gas station.
The good: The site itself is well maintained with good connections. The gravel is new, deep and modern and it is actually pretty easy to walk on.
The campground has pretty forested areas adjacent and is also somewhat close to but not touching the lake directly. No water views here that we can see.
There are nice modern and newish metal picnic tables that are good quality. There are fire rings with grates for cooking if you wish at just about every site that we could see.
Our site was 50A/Water/Sewer, which is our preference and close to dumpsters, bath house and entrance/exit.
The gate is accessible by code 24/7 so no issues with getting locked out after hours like some county parks.
Fireflies come out at night around our site and in the adjacent forest you can see them twinkling for hours starting around dusk.
Staff was friendly enough, we did not have much interaction but what we did was friendly and helpful.
Compared to COE parks, this park is expensive for the cleanliness and maintenance issues we found when we arrived. With the price considered, I don't know that we will stay here again although we overall liked it. Typically COE parks are cheaper and a bit cleaner and certainly more level, although there are exceptions.
Cell service was good enough for our needs. We had good signal on Tmobile/Sprint, Verizon and AT&T. Verizon around 20-35 down, 10 up; AT&T 18-22 down, 5 up; Tmobile 12-21 down, 5-7 up; Sprint (Calyx, which roams onto Tmobile when Sprint is bad) 3 down, 1-2 up.
If we were needing to be back in this location, we might look into COE options. If none were available, this would do but I would not trust the laundry room and carefully select a site (possibly the much more level concrete sites that are $47).
