Much to my surprise!!! There were two gorgeous HUGE MOOSE I saw out the window Dow in my back, just crunching on bushes! They were so enormous up close and it made my day wonderful! I got here on a Monday and it had new stouts RV’s here. So I’m guessing the weekends get pretty busy here and it’s not a huge ok w either. I highly recommend camping here.

Campground has it's permanent residents that let their dogs wander everywhere. People leave tents staking their claim. No shows for days. Not impressed.

Decent spot. However gravel roads to get there have a lot washboard spots. Doable but slow and steady. Better to approach it from the north

We enjoyed it here. It’s likely pretty crowded in the summer! Moose and views! And art inside the vault toilets. The road around the loop is a little rough but not too horrible. Good Verizon signal. And we saw Moose!

Clean campground, no official sites but there are picnic tables if you need/want those you can park near them.
Disclaimer: we came from Driggs and Google routes us through a dicey dirt road called “N 5250 W Estate”. This road was muddy and wet from 3 days of rainfall. Would not attempt this road without 4wd and at least medium clearance. There are definitely alternates to this route as everyone had clean cars in the site.
Some noise here since it’s next to cows.

I arrived on a Sunday evening and there were still plenty of areas to call home. During my seven nights, it was a great stay! Only a few people stayed the entire time I was there and many of them were just one night campers. There are a couple spots that have fire rings and picnic tables but anywhere that allows driving is fair game. There were two clean valult toilets and a host that would drive around every morning to make sure you don’t stay longer than then 10 day limit. There is a boat launch near the bathrooms so there’s a lot of traffic during the day and on the weekends. While I was disappointed I did not see any moose during my weeklong stay, there was an abundance of prairie dogs. Also, almost every camper that came through here had a dog and I believe most of them were off leash and well behaved but if you are not a dog person or do not have a dog that enjoys other dogs, I would rethink before coming here because it is very likely dogs will be running around off leash. Great spot it you have a boat or kayak. Only 15 minutes to Driggs to stock up on supplies. Great AT&T service. If you were coming from drags, do not follow Google map instructions. Continue down the road until you hit 6000 and turn right. If you follow the Google map to turn on the first road, it is extremely rutted and unless you have a very high clearance, likely will damage something.

We stayed at Big Eddy-Rainey for 7 nights. This area is just west of Driggs, ID. There is a boat ramp close by that allows access to the Teton River. There are 2 vault toilets available. There is no access to drinking water or dump facilities here. We worked all week using AT&T and our booster without issue. The area is large enough for any size rig, flat and wide open. It does get busy with locals on the weekend but there is still plenty of room to spread out.
The view of the Tetons is wonderful on clear days and being parked here makes it much easier to float the river which we did. This spot was quiet even on the weekend. When the skies are clear you have a great view of the stars! We walked up on the ridge to overlook the river one evening and were lucky enough to observe 3 moose for about 45 minutes. They eventually crossed the river and went into the near by fields. We saw moose 3 times while at this camp spot.
This has been one of our favorite boondocking spots in 2 years of traveling. We will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

The day use of the river is fairly busy so there will also be quite a few cars parked there as well. It was big rig friendly. Lots of cows! It was fine and we would stay again but just don’t expect privacy like spread out BLM land. Your experience depends on your neighbors behavior. Dogs off leash seemed to be pretty common.,
