“Great place”

Stayed at Huckleberry Campground. Lower campsites have been converted to canvas cabins. Not many sites for rvs. Large rigs cannot get in. We have a truck camper and only issue was leveling. Would definitely stay again.

Gorgeous camping surrounded by ancient redwoods. We stayed in Huckleberry Campground, boondocking. Friendly rangers, easy check in. Sites were well spaced, we felt like we had a private redwood grove to ourselves.
Recent rains created gardens of fungi along the well maintained trails throughout the park.
The restrooms provided private, lockable toilets, and paid showers were available.
We loved this CA Campground, the first CA state Campground, founded in 1902.

There are a few sites suitable for trailers in Huckleberry, such as 42H. However, Lower Blooms Creek looks like sites have more space for trailers (e.g. 130 & 131). 136 has some really nice trees, but it right next to another spot.

Beautiful campsite in the redwoods, facilities are basic, bathrooms are quite dated

Tall evergreens surround each site and a babbling spring gives a relaxing sound.
