Huge trees, views of Devil's Tower, adjacent to the Belle Fourche River, and quick access to the Devil's Tower visitor center and hiking path. Great spot for relaxing and reading and just soaking in the beauty of the place. Wish we could have stayed longer. I'd put this in my top 5 favorite campgrounds. And only $20 / night!

Lovely campground with lots of trees, so lots of shade (of course that moves around during the day). A fair bit of space between sites, so it doesn’t feel too crowded. Camp hosts delightful. Don’t forget to use your senior pass! I’m sitting here with a glass of wine looking at the Tower…

Lots of green spaces for the kids to run and areas to walk dogs. I saw Deer and Turkey and you're just alongside the Prairie Dog Town and the trail that goes up and around the monument. One thing very noticeable, at least during our stay, we arrived on a Thursday around noon to about a 1/3 of the sites available, by 4pm it was booked right through Friday and on Saturday the place emptied out. I checked my calendar five times, as everyone was packing up, thinking it was Sunday. On Sunday there were a lot of tents and still plenty of sites available. Must be the isolated location had people leaving early to allow enough days to get home. I would also add watch for the handicap sites. They're the only paved sites but the signs are brown and blend, they're not the usual blue color. Wonderful hard working camp hosts too. You can tell everyone was out to make this place as special as it is. I think this is the first Campground I ever gave 5 stars.

Normally I’m looking for free primitive sites but this is worth the $20 to stay at the base of Devil’s Tower with a great view! The bathrooms were very clean (no showers, but I don’t care about that), they have bearproof trash and recycling containers and potable water available. They also have a utility sink room available, which was nice for washing dishes and the such. Very quiet and tidy campground (I was there on a Monday so weekends may be different), could have maybe used a little mowing around the edges but nothing bad. Cell service was a little spotty but 10/10 would stay again.

Took a chance on a first come first serve site and was so pleasantly surprised! Location is amazing- at the base of Devil’s Tower/Bear Lodge between a little river and a prairie dog town. Sites were shady and while not super private, well spaced. Bathrooms were very clean. So glad I was able to stay here, beautiful spot!

The campsite rate is $20.00 per night, we payed $10.00 per night with our Senior Pass. Campsites include table and firering, also restrooms, water, and trash containers are available in the campground. The campground hosts are exceptionally wonderful people and very helpful. A convenient trail leads from the campground to the Prairie Dog Town and Devil's Tower, great hiking experience. A campgound store and cafe is within one-mile distance from the campground. Overall this was a wonderful and peaceful camping and hiking experience!

Wish they had a dump station, but $20/night right at the foot of Devil’s Tower is pretty darn good. Prairie dogs right around the corner!
