Great off-grid boondocking place, but sadly there has been a bit of trash left behind. Quiet, woodsy retreat.

Just needed a safe place to stay on our way to Sedona. Staff was kind, facilities clean, safe, level enough.

We got here at dark so stayed in the big parking lot south of the highway. We had a great view southwest. We have a big rig and didn’t want to go too far so we hung out. People were respectful and parked away from us. Wasn’t too loud things a staging area. Here for four days. Not too far from town if you need stuff. It’s free!

Owner is nice. He is not onsite, but will come onsite if you call him. Great view of the OH River. RR looks active, but I have yet to see a train. Looks sketchy, but you may be the only one here. It is quiet and safe. Hookups leave something to be desired: Water - see picture. I guess it is to prevent freezing. Electric - they work and are...

Unlike Arkansas Point, this campground has no hookups and smaller sites. Therefore you will find fewer huge trailers. However, the big trailers that can squeeze in run generators constantly, so they can camp with air conditioning and cable TV. We found the campground noisy. The views are quite good, though.
