I picked ABF because of the location and the mountain biking. (Our son is a biker). It was delightful! The RV sites are a little close together, but there are only 6 so it doesn’t seem so bad. We had site 6 on the end which I liked. Tent sites are really nice. Loved having the pump track behind us. So fun to watch the kids ride. Goats ... more

Location was super convenient. (Walk or bike to trails, 10 min drive to the visitor’s center or restaurants in Fayetteville). All of the staff were great.

This is a great laid back little camp ground with only 6 RV spots. Not really suitable for anything bigger then 30 feet, roads getting in are tight. There is a cool beer garden area there with games and a bike “pump track” right in the camp ground. The bike shop does good work at a fair price. There is a large mountain bike trail system that you can access from the campground and lots of great hikes within minutes of there. Close to downtown Fayetteville and the New River National Park. The Gauley river is about a half hour away. Down sides are RV spots are right next to each other, showers aren’t very clean and no heat in the bathroom and there is no dump station. Still well worth the stay.

This is an awesome spot if your into the vibe, which we are, so it was great! Small campground, locally owned and active, outdoorsy hip folk, mainly “geared” (bike joke) at mountain biking but no judgment if you don’t, we didn’t but we hung out at the beer garden a few times and walked to some hikes in the National Park from our site.... more
This is an awesome spot if your into the vibe, which we are, so it was great! Small campground, locally owned and active, outdoorsy hip folk, mainly “geared” (bike joke) at mountain biking but no judgment if you don’t, we didn’t but we hung out at the beer garden a few times and walked to some hikes in the National Park from our site. GREAT location. Lots of tent camping and dry camping spots but we needed the electric for our animals and was grateful for the option. People are super nice, place is super chill, will definitely be back when we’re in the area.
Sites wouldn’t be able to fit bigger 5th wheels but most of the trailers were 30’ or less and made it in. Feel free to check with the staff if you have concerns bc their customer service is great.
For those working remotely, we both had great signal (Verizon & AT&T) and their WiFi reached our trailer just fine and didn’t need the booster.
