Cons: if ATV traffic noise and dust bothers you, this is not the place for you. If you enjoy quiet seclusion, also not your place. Very close to main road with traffic noise at all hours. Other campers apparently think nothing of blasting music until midnight despite quiet hours starting at 10 pm - it does not seem to be enforced. But if you park more than two vehicles at your site, you’ll definitely get to meet the host. Yellow jackets were a huge nuisance. Brings traps if you plan to stay here.

We drove through the campground looking for a site with our 32foot 5th wheel in tow. While we were able to make the loops it was tight. I would not take any larger rig through the area. There were one or two branches that we did have to go slow under.
We only saw two sites that were suitable for a medium sized rig. Most sites were unlevel or heavily rutted. There were multiple sites with large drainage dips at the entrance which would have destroyed our stabilizers.
The campground was in dappled shade and the bathrooms were clean.

Overall the campground is nice. A few sunny spots, some shaded spots. The sites themselves aren’t very level, but they’re manageable. There will be ATV noise, but that’s to be expected. TMobile is basically nonexistent, but we have two bars of Verizon. It’s been good enough for most remote work. 50down, 4 up during the day. Easy to get... more

Big rigs might have trouble navigating the sites.

It’s a small but nice place to camp. There is 11 sites and between May-October is reservation sites camping. I would call ahead to see if any spots are open before you decide to pop a squat, you can reserve online and pay online. If you do show up it’s cash or check only, no debit/credit card pay. If you have a National Park pass, you get half off the overnight stay. Normally it’s $14 a day but $7 with the pass. At night it’s quiet, during the day it’s a busy place bc it’s day use as it has a cool OHV pit and trails! Good for day visit or camp. They do have bathrooms, picnic tables, and fire pits. We stayed at #5 which is close to the day parking to OHV pit, and the camp spots goes in a circle. Be sure to read all the rules and follow the signs! Suitable for travel trailers, campers, and tents. This place even has a place for children’s track.
There is no power, and gray water camping... dry camping only.
