Oasis Campground

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Under $60 for full hookup and a great swimming pool. Showers and bathrooms were the cleanest and nicest that I have seen anywhere. We stayed 2 nights. It’s by interstate 90 but with the air conditioner on we didn’t hear a single thing. They had trash cans at almost every camp site to make dumping trash a piece of cake. It was 101 degrees and the pool was awesome. Very quiet and relaxing stay!! I would highly recommend and wish every camp site was as nice. Oh and almost forgot the awesome laundry room with a TV! The best!! Great sunset recommendations from one of the workers Maxwell! We loved it!

We called same day after boondocking for 4 days and wanted some full hook ups. The prices for spots has gone up since the last post in 2022, but still was reasonable, considering the amenities. Pool, laundry, nice showers and bathrooms. The host was very kind. It IS right off of I-90, so you will hear some road noise. The campground is well maintained and has some sites with concrete pads. Pull through sites are $76 before any discounts, but they offer discounts for military,first responder, AAA, and AARP. Back-in sites are cheaper by about $8.00. We paid $59 for a back in site with a First Responder discount.

We stayed here for an overnight on our way to the Black Hills. Very nice park, seems well-maintained. It’s right off the interstate, and I see some here have complained about the road noise. We are far enough away that it didn’t bother us, though. The pool was nice, but a little buggy. Our site was quite level. Al’s Oasis restaurant was right across the way, and was pretty good. (The pie was great!). We would definitely stay again.

Great campground and ammenities! Poor, very clean restrooms/showers and a lot of stalls! Laundry room, playground, basketball court, pet friendly. Only reasons I didn’t give 5 stars is because we were in a class A motorhome and they put us on site #73 which was not level, cable didn’t work and was very close to the cabin on one side and the camper on the other side. It was a back in spot. We would stay there again, just not in spots 73-75 with a big motorhome. Their WiFi did not work at all for us and we had 3 bars with T-mobile, thankfully.

Half-way between Rapid City & Sioux Falls, a perfect stop for overnight or longer. Not too much to do if staying a long time, you'd have to drive a bit to see more than what Chamberlain has to offer. Three nights would be the best. Laundry & restroom/showers are in great condition and always clean. Pool is ok. Playground & basketball court, small cabins available and tent camping sites too. Pull-through and back-in sites and large enough for Class A's & 5th wheelers. The site grass areas are not the best shape; a lot of thatch & leaves. Some sites have raised BBQ grills in addition to fire pits, others are fire pits with half-grill tops. You're right near the Missouri River so boating & fishing makes this campground an ideal location. The only draw-back would be I-90 is right next to the perimeter so road noise exists. And Al's OASIS grocery store, fuel station, restaurant is right across the street.

We had a grass site on the side by the bathrooms. Unlevel and unable to get level while we were there. Definitely needs gravel and grading. Some other pull thru sites looked better. Bathrooms were ok. Needed new shower curtains (moldy on back sides and pulled off a few hooks). Water holds on floors pretty bad. Couldn’t get dressed without dragging pants through water on floor. We did see people running around on carts all day. Not exactly sure what they were doing. Office staff was friendly. They mentioned they were going to doing some upgrades to sites. It’s needed. Close to grocery and restaurant which was nice.
