Overall Rating

Very hilly and grassy camping. This is a former city Resevoir that was preserved as a park. There are no designated camping spots. You register for camping at the Albia City Hall. When we asked where we could camp, the clerk said, "Park where you won't get stuck!"

It is dry primitive camping and there are two vault toilets. It's located about two miles off the paved road. It is most suited for tents and small rigs. It's a no wake lake with a boat ramp.

It's a park used for fishing, picnics, joggers and hikers. It was very quiet at night. We will definitely be back!
