Let’s start with the owner Bob… He’s awesome! Came to check on us and when my husband asked where we could get ice, Bob told him then called the market to get the price for us. The park is very well maintained and bathrooms are nice and clean. This is a no frills small park geared more towards adults as it is quite and peaceful. Full hook-ups and very fair prices. Would highly recommend 1776 if you’re in the area. Did I mention the owner Bob is awesome!

“Small tidy park”

Bairdsnest is a small, tidy park that is off the beaten track. It is by a very busy road that is quite noisy. There are some overhanging branches at the main entrance that you just can’t avoid. We cringed going in and coming back out. There is one interior road that is an oval, and the turn at the back is a bit tight. There are sites on the sides and sites in the middle. Most sites have concrete pads. Some are definitely more suitable for larger rigs. There are pull-thru and back-in sites. Our site was a pull-thru but you had to drive through muddy, wet grass to get to the concrete pad. The pad had a steep drop off at the front so we had to back out. There is no direct shade but there are trees around the perimeter. Directv worked fine in our site and probably would in all sites. There is no cell service. We could not get the WII FI to work at our site despite help from the owner. So be prepared to be incommunicado! The owners are nice and are trying to upgrade the park. It is still a work in progress.
