Once through the gate, take the Perimeter Road which brings you in the back way. Go past the Navy/Marine Building to a left on Marine Road which will bring you directly to the FAMCAMP entrance. Check-in at the base lodging. Big rigs can park on the street or in the "Eagle" parking lot across the street. Once in the building, walk though the gym to the far corner where Outdoor Recreation is located. Outdoor Recreation is open 0800-1700hrs.

Overall Rating
At only $15 a night for full hookups on paved pads, this is a great value. The Air Reserve Station is quiet at night, but the USAF and other airport activity during the days makes for a little noise.

We stayed here for 2 nights in our 32ft travel trailer. FHU pull thru Site in middle row. Spacing is fair, no privacy. Patio is horrible, it is chunky group up road asphalt and gravel, hard on your feet even with patio mat. Therefore we did not sit outside. Utilities at site worked fine. Back in sites have W/E only and a little more spacing and privacy to rear. Bathrooms and showers and are spotless and have AC. Evidently the laundry you can use is in dorms buildings 111 and 112 and in middle of base. Would need to drive there so we did not use. There are essentially NO on base services. The BX is a very small quick mart, no gas, no barber, no bagged ice on base, no other recreation facilities. Services and retail down RT 11 about 15 to 20 min south. This is a good basic overnight stop if in the area but that is about it in our opinion compared to other FAM camps we have stayed at. Other campers we saw were friendly, no noise issues. One plane left at 7 am but not too loud.

No picnic tables at campsites. No designated pet walk area. Be sure to register at Visitor Center to immediate right of main gate if 1st time to this base or its been more than 3 yrs since you have been there. Guard allowed us to park in the right lane of gate so we could go register. Go slow thru gates due to cones and Ballards to make you wind thru for safety. No issues for us and we are 60 overall ft with vehicle and 32ft trailer. Jason in reservations was very good with communications. We suggest only arriving during the 1 to 4 ck in time.
