STAY AWAY if you have a big rig, 5th wheel, or any RV with even a moderately tall roof. The roof on our 5th wheel was damaged due to the multiple untrimmed trees in this park. Now we're forced to make a claim on our insurance to get the roof replaced. (Jellystone's insurance refused our claim) Our repair facility gave initial estimates of around $15,000 worth of damage.
After the damage to our 5th wheel when coming in, I refused to let any more branches scrape our rig. The main entry/exit had such low branches that it did not seem possible to leave without branches scraping the RV. I had to stop, walk up to the office, and ask an employee to assist. Instead of trimming the tree, they simply used a pole to hold the branches out of the way while we went through. (See pic) These branches scraped our rig and roof when we initially came in, although these were not the same branches that caused damage to our roof.
We've taken our 5th wheel all over the country and stayed at several Jellystones. In my opinion, this park's trees appeared to be more neglected than any other Jellystone we've visited. In my experience, this level of tree maintenance is more what I'd expect to see at some state parks facing budget constraints.

Definitely think this would be a great location for summer camping with the large pool, ice cream etc, but we still had a great time. The staff was very friendly and they had some great Halloween activities for kids including trick or treating. Two complains are that the sites are really close together and the sewage connections in our section were uphill (we were at site 37). The restrooms also could have used a bit more attention.

We stayed here for a weekend during Ravenna BalloonAFair. Friendly staff and already planning to come back with children and grands. Interspersed with cabins a real treat. No complaints. Road noise subsided in the evening. Seasonals are well spread out .

This a great campground/water park for a fairly reasonable cost. The park is clean and the pool is huge with a water slide, obstacle course and diving platform. The pool depth is 0-12 feet with wade-in shallow end which is great for the little ones. The pool can get busy as it is open to the public for a cost. The mini golf course is also top notch and free with stay. The general store and snack bar/ice cream shop was also very affordable. This was our first Jellystone experience. We stayed 2 nights one weekend then 2 nights the next as this park is roughly between DC and Chicago which is basically our trip and we like to break up the driving. The first weekend much of the park including the park was a muddy mess after a long period of rain. It mostly dried up for the next weekend. The RV parking spots were mostly dry and are gravel and quite level. We didn’t need to level any wheels on the first site and only very little on second site. There were also lots of activities including an exotic pet show, science show, crafting, Yogi experience, fire truck rides and more. The kids loved all the activities (we have 4 kids).

Drove from Florida to visit a sick relative and JellyStone was the closest location to the nursing home. After checking in with a nice young man, as I pulled around to get to my spot, I looked up and saw the manager blocking the road. He apparently did not like me driving through empty pull throughs to find my way. I then spent an hour and a half cleaning the spot I was given as it had not been mowed in a long while and had multiple holes from stakes that had been removed. While I was finishing setting up, the manager's assistant told us that he did not like how I reacted to accidentally almost running him over as he stepped into the drive and that we had to leave or they would call the police. I was shocked. We are good people, have a very nice motor home, and have never been treated this way. The manager then came and said it would be best that we leave. I told him that we had just driven 12 hours and were going to see a dying relative. We had no other place to go because of the time but could not in good conscience ever pay this man and his assistant because of the way we were treated. My wife thought that perhaps he had sold the site to someone staying more than the month that we had intended and that this was his disgusting way to get us to leave. Perhaps. simply shocking....
