This is a very popular campground so reservations were made 5 months in advance of our stay. The park is easy to find as it's about 2 miles outside Mexico New York on a county highway. Check in was very simple and the staff was very knowledgeable. Upon check in you are given a list of events that are happening. The road in was paved but as you enter the main body of the campground it turns to stone. We found it easy to move about and to back into out site. Our site had a fire ring, picnic table as well as electrical (30 & 50 amp) and water hookups. The sites were good size, level and grassy. Some sites are shaded, they have pull thru sites and have sewer sites available too. Cabin rentals in the park as well. There is a bath house that has toilets and showers if you desire. If you have kids or grand kids, this place is just perfect for them. There is a on site store with ice cream, concessions stand and a pavilion for activities. List of daily activities, pool, river, jump pad, bounce house, play grounds with a rec field for organized play! The owner will travel around the park and is very personable to speak with. The campground is pet friendly with a pet run area. Mexico NY is just two miles down the road that offers gas, grocery store and restaurants, so supplies are not too far away.
We took our nephew there and met other family and the kids were gone most of the day and very tired when they returned at night...(just the way you want it) We were very impressed with this campground and have already made reservations for next summer (2024). For $78 a night and the activities offered to keep the kids busy was well worth it. Our cell is Verizon and we maintained a very good signal all through our stay!!
ADK Man would stay here again
