This campground is extremely well kept and has absolutely stunning views of the mountains!! Located directly on the Yellowstone River. It’s a pretty quiet campground but you do get a good amount of road noise. We ran our fans to help block it out. I would definitely stay here again!

The beautiful Absaroka mountain range is on the river side of the park and the Gallatin on the other. We were nestled in between along the Yellowstone River and although not on the river, we had great views from our site.
We’ve already decided that we will return next year for a month. Bozeman is a quick 45 minute drive away and has everything you’d need plus The Museum of the Rockies with a great display of dinosaur fossils from Montana.
Forget the price, enjoy the stay! (But stay 6 nights, get 7th free).

We pulled in without a reservation, made it the day we arrived. Decided we wanted to stay a couple of extra days and they were able to accommodate us, thus the three sites. None were bad, 26 was the best, unobstructed view of the river. We fished right down the way, walking distance, and caught some trout. Nice trees, very nice laundry and shower facilities. Only downer was no fire or grill at the individual campsites. We had good cell coverage, one of us had verizon, the others At&T, didn’t note the specific bars so couldn’t fill out below. WiFi not great, had to turn it off to get things to download, even though showed good connection.

Well, we ended up staying here a lot longer than we'd planned due to a run in with a deer that put our tow vehicle in the shop for nearly 2 weeks. But, we couldn't have been stuck in a nicer place. We had an easy pull through full hook up site. The park is an old ranch that is right along the Yellowstone river with great fly fishing. The rec room, laundry, showers & restrooms are the cleanest I've ever seen! The people who own and work at the campground are so kind and happily accommodated our longer than expected stay, offering if we needed any help countless times. They host a campfire every night and an ice cream social every Sunday. The rec room has books, billiards and a foosball table. It's an easy drive to Chico Hot Springs, as long as the deer stay off the road. Getting to Yellowstone or Bozeman will take a little longer at ~45 minutes for either. You'll feel so welcome at this park that maybe you'll end up staying longer than you planned, too!

We just arrived here today for a 3-night stay in our 3rd week of on a long RV trip around the west. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have ever stayed at, and the owners are friendly, efficient, and so helpful. I agree with everything earlier reviewers have said. My husband showered after a bike ride and said it's the best and cleanest campground shower he's ever been in, and we've been in a range of them. We have a beautiful view of the river behind us. The only noise is the hum of traffic, which is close by. The free Wifi is pretty good. We will be spoiled for the rest of our trip.

The park is quiet although it's near the road, and right on the Yellowstone River with great views of the mountains across. The staff was great, and they host a bonfire each evening. Book in advance - people come year after year and stay for a month or even the whole summer!
