Stayed two nights end of May! Rain coming in with a cloudy first day. Second day was sunny warm with a cool breeze right on the Yellowstone river! Will definitely come back and stay here!

Found this sweet spot on Yellowstone River for 12$. We got lucky and found the first spot into the campground close to pit toilets and looking at river. Sites have picnic tables and fire pits. Sites are pretty level and are quiet enough. It’s a good spot for an overnight stay for dry camping.

We stayed here for several days. We got lucky enough to get a spot right on the Yellowstone River. It's a busy spot during peak summer, but very nice.

Pleasing site on Yellowstone River. Good distance between sites. Very clean and calm unlike a previous fishing access site nearby.

I had to call law-enforcement three different times in one night regarding their behavior including disturbing the peace, letting their dogs run And bark all night but don’t plan on getting a site during the week either because they come up here and put their name on the on the site but don’t show up until the weekend.

There's a lot of negative reviews here... but we absolutely loved this spot. We're from flat Houston, Texas so I guess a campsite with beautiful 360 snow-capped mountain views and right on the Yellowstone river can't really be beat. We got campsite #9 which seemed like one of the best-- right on the river, and one of the few with shade. Prices are $18/night, or $12/night if someone in your group has a Montana fishing license. Good cell signal. We have a 30 ft. travel trailer, and a 20 ft long F250 SuperDuty, and didn't feel like it was too tight to drive through or get the rig in at all. Only issue we had is that it got very windy every afternoon... One of the days we had gusts up to 65mph. So just watch your outdoor stuff/awnings, etc. Gets packed on the weekends in summer, so getting there early to mid-week is best. Little over an hour from the Yellowstone North Entrance, about 30 minutes from nearest big town-- Livingston, MT.

This is a very basic fishing campground on the Yellowstone River. We needed a one night stay between Yellowstone and Bozeman airport...it served it’s purpose. We took one of the 3 sites left when we arrived and had to listen to someone run their ungodly loud generator the entire night. The couple across from us got into a heated and disturbing fight at 11pm, which ruined the energy and mood of everyone at our site. The upside is, we were able to see the moon, Big Dipper, Milky Way and a comet all in the giant sky above us. I’d go back in a pinch, but wouldn’t make a point to return. Sites are pretty small, vault toilet and boat ramp.
