We found free dispersed camping in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest along NF RD 2395. In this video, I show you two free dispersed campsites in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Both free dispersed campsites are located along National Forest Road 2305. The first free campsite is adjacent to the Woods Creek Picnic Area and Trailhead at grid coordinates 46.461021, -121.960473. The second big rig friendly free dispersed campsite shown in this video is located just up the road on the left at grid coordinates 46.460134, -121.947432. There was no cellular service for Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile at these free dispersed campsites. My overall rating reflects the lack of cellular connectivity and close proximity to the forest road.

Overall Rating
We followed the GPS coordinates mentioned in the earlier review which took us deep into the forest after passing a few occupied sites. The river was a cloudy but pretty green due to either limestone or ash from nearby fires throughout the area.

This spot is past the sign that says woods creek wildlife. It’s an open grassy area with room for 2-3 RV’s (if you want to be close). It was about 30 mins to mt rainier. No cell service with att. Pretty quiet in the off season except for a few trucks driving past. We were the only people there so we were able to have our dogs of... more
This spot is past the sign that says woods creek wildlife. It’s an open grassy area with room for 2-3 RV’s (if you want to be close). It was about 30 mins to mt rainier.
No cell service with att. Pretty quiet in the off season except for a few trucks driving past.
We were the only people there so we were able to have our dogs off leash and they could explore the area.
Easy in and out access as well even with our 32’ airstream.
