We had site two, with small roofed shelter over concrete patio with fire pit … a bonus from our point of view. Shaded and trees/shrubs behind. Site one is directly across but some privacy. There is a large shelter for rent just above this site, so in summer may not be so great when in use on weekends. There are six new sites down the ... more
We had site two, with small roofed shelter over concrete patio with fire pit … a bonus from our point of view. Shaded and trees/shrubs behind. Site one is directly across but some privacy. There is a large shelter for rent just above this site, so in summer may not be so great when in use on weekends. There are six new sites down the hill in the open with electric - no privacy and sunny with fire rings in grass.
Bathrooms clean with toilet and sink, cold water only- showers not running yet in mid May.

Open small campground run by the city. 8 of the 10 sites have power, if you plug in it's $25 if not it's $10. Some of the most scenic roads in the state if not the country, especially in fall. Plenty of small towns with local shops and good food/drink. Campground is quite and right in the small town of 800 people and has an awesome... more
Open small campground run by the city. 8 of the 10 sites have power, if you plug in it's $25 if not it's $10. Some of the most scenic roads in the state if not the country, especially in fall. Plenty of small towns with local shops and good food/drink. Campground is quite and right in the small town of 800 people and has an awesome bbq place just like down south, order and pickup to go at the window, but they do have a nice seating area and self serve soda and some good local beers. Antique stores. Lots of small towns within 10-20 minutes a little longer if you take the backroads and enjoy the scenery. A motorcyclist dream also see a lot of utvs so I think much of it is accessible. Large city pool on-site.

Village employees are very friendly, as are people in town. Site 2 worked great for us but maybe not for a much larger rig? Due to sharper turns to back in. We camp with a 17’ Casita and used our Wrangler as a tow vehicle on this trip. We rode the 400 trail after purchasing an annual trail pass at “Neighbors”, in town. Great coffee, b... more

We rode the 400 trail after purchasing an annual trail pass at “Neighbors”, in town. Great coffee, btw. Rode to Reedsburg and back and then to Elroy for breakfast on Sunday at Benders, and back.
Only downside is the lack of a dump site on the premises. But we drove to the fairgrounds in Elroy and took care of it there.

Wooded park with only two 30amp sites.
Fill fresh water tank in Park first account of no water hook up on site.
US Cellular signal was very good.
Paid for site at Village Hall adjacent to the Fire Dept.

Stayed here in August with the mosquitoes but didn't mind because we also shared it with 7 wild turkeys. The campsite is in the swimming pool area so that is where the flush toilet and hot showers are found. The area is quiet and little cell service. But wow what a sweet view The manager for the pool was so nice and helpful. Great place to save some money and see the area. Quite hilly so needed some leveling and might be quite tight for large vehicles. Just right for our pickup camper
