This is a nice, quiet county park. The pads are gravel and ours was perfectly level. The 30A electric was good and stable. We had a new picnic table. Each site has a table and fire ring.
The park has a hike/bike trail, a nice playground, a new shower house, potable water and a dump station.

We parked here initially planning for a week to finish the new floor install in our RV. It took longer so we stayed. It’s a small county park. Only about 15 sites with electric. There were 5 other full time RVs there. All so friendly and willing to help. There is about 2 miles of dusty gravel to the parks entrance. While there we saw T... more

Heavily wooded campground. Lots of shade. Has a connected limestone bike trail from Gladbrook to Conrad. New bathrooms. Good playground. Shelter house if you need one. Several hiking trails for a small park. Not heavily used so typically very private. 3 miles of gravel to get there.

Nice, county-maintained rec area. A hardwood oasis in the middle of a whole lot of agriculture. Note that as of June, 2019, access from the north is CLOSED. No signs were posted to that effect. As another reviewer said, not a lot of privacy between sites, but the fact that you’re likely to be alone renders plenty of peace and quiet. Don’t know how it rolls on weekends.
There is a dump station and non-potable water. Also a playground.
Nice, picturesque site.
